Telstar Logistics, Inc. | Rainbow Dash Ruins Her Ideas About Percentage - A YTPMV @TelstarLogisticsYTP | Uploaded February 2012 | Updated October 2024, 15 minutes ago.
I SUGGEST READING THE DESCRIPTION.
First off, let me say that I am neither a brony nor a hater. I am a YouTube Pooper, which means I treat all sources equally and don't embrace a certain source for my work. Although I may prefer to work with different sources, I am open to use any and all sources. The simple fact that I have created a video with MLP:FiM clips does not automatically make me a brony, nor am I trying to imply that I hate those who watch the show.
With that being said, this video serves two purposes. First, I have a small bet with my friend who happens to be a brony. My position is that anything pony-related will probably get more views than any other videos I've posted, solely because it is pony-related. My friend argues that this is not always the case--it all depends on the quality of the work. So I basically made this YTPMV to see if I could prove him wrong (which, to him, wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing).
Second, I wanted to make a more classic YTPMV. If you are someone who is fairly new to YTPMVs in general, you may not know that the earlier YTPMVs were fairly simple with no pitch shifting and not many visuals, back when MrSimon aka electricthecheese created the first one in 2007, I believe it was. I highly doubt that anyone has made a classic YTPMV of MLP:FiM, as I have seen many pony YTPMVs. Granted, some of the ones I've seen are fairly well-done, but I thought I would take a more traditional approach. So this is also my tribute to electricthecheese and the others who pioneered in YTPMVs.
