Charles Manson would write Barbara "Rainbow" Rosenberg old family member and then later them family members would sell them letters to collectors like me. In this letter from Manson he is writing to Barbara and giving some of this thoughts on the past with her.
She was on of the people who were living on the ranch before Manson ever got there and stayed with him when he did up until the shooting of Bernard Crowe then disappeared. She was married to TJ for several years after the family. ROSENBERG, Barbara Jean F/W 12-27-47 Nickname: Bo is how she was listed in the Police files of the Manson Family.
Paul Watkins mentions her in his book "Both girls, Bo (Barbara Rosenberg, who would later join the Family) and Shelly, were in their late teens. Shelly was tall and voluptuous; Bo, short,"
I find it quite interesting in Lynette Fromme's book she describes TJ like this "TJ was a sometimes visitor, older than most of us, balding, and missing front teeth for which he had loose replacements. He had already been through the military (demolitions), marriage and divorce (demolitions)". From that description of him it would seem to me that most of these people at the ranch didn't really know each other nor like each other much because TJ was one of the most loyal people Manson ever had in his life up until his death. Went with Manson to Hollywood to free a hostage Tex left to be killed. Was seen many times at court with the family as well and then went on to visit Manson for some 20 years later.
