The lizards can sometimes get into this loop of trying to climb up something and falling while trying to carry something. This happens because carrying things and being injured makes you less agile. So climbs that should be doable for the creature aren't anymore.
Anyway, notice the invisible lizard in the bottom left of the screen. Eventually he's gonna get tired of watching his friend try to eat me and snatches me up himself. LoL :)
