Today I’m talking about planning trips and excursions in bad weather.
I was at a charity sporting clay shoot as a spare shooter, got rained on, ate some BBQ, and ended up with wet feet. Fortunately, I keep a poncho and good rain gear in my truck.
It’s the little things — proper rain gear, extra socks, quick-dry clothes, etc. — that can turn a miserable day into a manageable one.
Whether you’re traveling, at an event, or just out for the day, always have a basic weather contingency plan.
