Rev. Bob Jackson has a special relationship with the history of the Green Ayre line. He became close friends with Ernie Whitehouse, the man who ran the line and also got to know many of the drivers and station staff. In 1965/66, Bob made film and sound recordings of the line, which he had spent many hours travelling.
