Stage 5 has a huge oversight with its voiceovers (at least in the English dub). Valbarossa's reveal as a woman at the end of this stage is played up as a surprise to Max and Eshiria. However, her female voice is not disguised in any way when she is taunting them during the battleship raid and boss fight. It is highly likely that Valbarossa was supposed to have a disguised voice during the regular events of the stage.
This AI remaster gives Valbarossa the disguised voice she was meant to have along with her disguised face. Valbarossa has been given a chaotic and smug characterization with her dialogue rewrite.
As for the other characters, Campbell acts derisive towards Max, a superior officer. Max corrects Campbell to address him by his rank of General.
