Whitewater rafting down Kern River on May 21st, 2023 with Kern River Outfitters. This was a half day trip which consisted of 2 laps down a section of the Upper Kern with a bonus section past Riverside Park to the cemetery take-out. What's great about Kern River is that even with very high flows, there are still sections of the river that you can run that aren't too crazy. DO NOT enter the river without being on a guided tour!
