Another tip on how to set up 4WS with Drive Modes on the Radiomaster MT12! Buckle up, because we are getting pretty technical with this one... Feel free to pause or slow the video down. Also feel free to ask a question in the comments below!
Note, if you need to trim or reverse a servo, I suggest doing so in the Outputs screen and leaving the Mixes alone.
Another note, instead of turning the Global Var into an Input and then using that Input as a multiplier in the Mixes, you can also directly use a Global Var as the weight in the Mixes tab. I recently re-learned that after making and posting this video... Let me know if you want to see an update to this video with that method of setup instead.
As you may be able to hear, I also added Special Functions to play audio files for the different modes, but, I didn't go over how to do that. Originally I wanted to wait until there were official sounds to post directions on how to do that. I've opened a request with the Official EdgeTX Sounds team to add the sounds there, but until then, here is a GitHub link for the audio files I made:
github.com/jakezilla/FourWheelSteerSounds
Add those sounds to your SD Card and add Special Functions to play the tracks when your Drive Mode is active.
Here is my request on the official EdgeTX Sound GitHub; you can keep an eye on that and see if/when the sounds are added:
