Justin Nobel, author of Petroleum-238, exposes the oil and gas industry’s cover up of serious problems with toxic, radioactive waste from its operations. This sludge, or brine is mislabeled ‘nonhazardous waste’. Containing radium, benzene and other toxic material, it is transported in improperly marked trucks, sold as fertilizer to be spread over grazing land, and used in the manufacture of consumer products.
Injection wells, and radioactive sludge sites are often located near homes, markets, and schools. Radioactivity from this waste has been measured and found to be way beyond safe limits.
It can't be filtered out. The billions of tons created each year seep into the water table.
“Any attempt to remove radioactivity transforms it from a dilute source into a concentrated one” “Radioactivity cannot be made inert by chemical means” - American Petroleum Institute
