Radio Ontvang Station Eemnes, Station Echo, started in 1968 but before that it was Post Alfa in Amstelveen. It moved to Eemnes due to the noise [radionoise] in Amstelveen. Post Alfa and Station Echo was a part of the Dutch MARID, the secret guys and girls from the Dutch navy. In 2006 management went to the Dutch NSO [Nationale Sigint Organisatie] and on juni 15 2014 it joined the Joint Sigint Cyber Unit [JSCU].
