We only had a 60-minute window on the weather radar to sneak in some creek fishing before the next massive storm cell hit Alberta! With rain, heavy wind, and hail looming, we grabbed our pickerel rigs and minnows to see if we could find a rapid-fire walleye bite at our favorite creek spot.
The pressure was on to beat the clock, but the fishing turned out absolutely incredible. We landed some beautiful Alberta walleyes—including a massive 52 cm kicker—and had constant action from the very first cast.
