This was the first piece I tested out while testing out a Steinway D, so I thought it would be appropriate to make another video on it. My overall interpretation of this piece hasn't really changed since I last played it, so I threw in some different dynamics and voicings here and there for a bit of a different flavor. In the recap, there's some debate about whether the melodic note is G natural or G-flat. I was tempted to actually play G-flat this time around, but after going back and forth a few times I ended up playing G natural again, and added some extra voicing in the previous measure to defend my decision haha.

I've found it's quite difficult to capture the difference between very loud and maximum loud playing in the recording, as I have to fight through the compression and limiter that prevents clipping in my setup.

This piece also sounds wonderful on double bass or cello, of which I've heard a few performances on Youtube.
