I’m getting to see Tommy Emmanuel live this month, so I figured it was time to finally dive into one of his tunes on the ukulele! Tommy’s music has been such a massive influence to me. Every original piece I’ve written has a little bit of Tommy-isms. 😜
He recorded a beautiful duet version of this track with @jakeshimabukuro , and many of the voicings I used were based on Jake's performance.
I’m still in the process of learning and refining it, but I wanted to share where it’s at right now. Looking forward to spending more time with this one!
