The Raccoons are back. I was out setting the trap tonight and had just set it down and put food in it. I was talking to my mom on the phone and telling her of the adventure when I looked up and there were two Raccoons staring at me! Next thing I know, they walk up to the cage and start trying to figure out how to get the food. Mind you, I'm standing there looking at them only about 4 feet away!! It was frankly unbelievable! After these two get caught, I look up and there are two more staring at me from the edge of the deck! Next thing I know, all four of them are there acting like I didn't even exist! I've got another video of that and some stills I'll post next. Looks like a mama Raccoon and three babies. Last Summer, I hauled 9 Raccoons out to the country. Now, 4 more...
