A tiny pet bunny rabbit named Pigpoke is locked in his cage because he is going on an overnight adventure (to be preceded by a car ride). The rabbit is a free roam rabbit / free range rabbit, and does not like being captured. When he is put in his cage, he basically flies into a rage - instantly transforming from a fun, cute bunny, into a sullen, moody beast. You can see how he turns into a mad rabbit as soon as he is locked in. He also experiences the 5 stages of grief in short order. We are pleased to report that he did not mind the car ride - he is getting much more used to it - and he had fun on his rabbit adventure!
The five stages of grief model (or the Kübler-Ross model) is popularly known as a model that describes a series of emotions experienced by people who are grieving: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Although commonly referenced in popular culture, studies have not empirically demonstrated the existence of these stages, until now.
After being locked in his cage, the rabbit eventually accepts it - and even makes a rabbit eating banana video.
