Throughout the years, I have encountered countless arguments attempting to justify doing immoral things to animals. However, in today's video I am addressing what is quite possibly the craziest and most astounding one yet.
Fox hunters in the UK are attempting to have themselves classified as an ethnic minority so that they can claim legal protections. Isn't that one of the most ludicrous statements you've ever read! Clearly something doesn't add up here, so in this video I discuss their arguments and analyse why fox hunters believe they should be a legally protected ethnic minority.

#JordanPeterson recently interviewed #ElonMusk and saw an opportunity to do what Jordan does best - spread utter nonsense and pseudoscience. In this particular instance, Jordan persistently tries to encourage Elon to take up a carnivore diet because he believes that doing so will rid Elon of his back pain.
However, even though Elon is clearly not interested, that doesn't stop Jordan from getting increasingly more desperate and outlandish in his carnivore advocacy. So, in today's video, I react to the clip in question.

For instance, if she had to cut the chicken’s throat herself would she say she enjoyed that too, or is she just so detached from the process that she doesn’t think of the violence her choices cause?
It’s also important to apply Hailey’s attitude towards handling dead chickens to other species of animals. What we would think if someone said they enjoyed handling the flesh of a slaughtered dog? Most of us would find this abhorrent because we recognise that dogs matter morally. However, violence towards chickens is so normalised that we don’t apply our ethics consistently, even though chickens also matter morally.
Sadly, we view certain species of animals as being so unworthy and so undeserving of our empathy, that we don’t even consciously think about them as we’re handling their mutilated and butchered bodies. However, it’s important that we connect with the reality of what we are paying for and live in alignment with the values we say we have by no longer paying for needless violence, cruelty, suffering and death to be forced on to animals.Ben Shapiro’s views on veganism are an absolute mess.Earthling Ed2024-07-30 | 🌺 Get 20% off Wild for a limited time here by using the code ED20: bit.ly/edwilddiscount - as always a big thank you to Wild for supporting my channel! 🌱 Make my work possible by becoming a supporter (thank you!): http://earthlinged.org/support & http://patreon.com/earthlinged 💙 My new book How to Argue With a Meat Eater (And Win Every Time): howtoarguewithameateater.com 📚 My first book This is Vegan Propaganda (And Other Lies the Meat Industry Tells You): http://earthlinged.org/orderbook 💌 POSITIVE vegan news from me straight to your inbox! bit.ly/goodvegannews 🎤 Organise a speech from me: earthlinged.org/contact ♻️ Shop my ethical clothing brand I.D.E.A. Out of all the right wing commentators, Ben Shapiro is one of the most interesting when it comes to veganism. This is because, when he's been questioned about the ethics of what we do to animals, he's admitted that's actually a hypocrite and believes that in the future we will look back on what we currently do to animals as being barbaric.

In the UK, the idea of blending plants and animal products together to create a range of hybrid products is becoming an increasingly popular concept. This is particularly because of Smug Dairy and Quorn. But is this idea actually a good idea or will it actually lead to more animal products being consumed overall? After all, who are these products actually for?
In today's video I dive into the subject and discuss what my thoughts and feelings are about this emerging and highly controversial range of food products.

It’s also strange how people will sometimes proclaim they’ll eat anything, as if that’s something admirable or praiseworthy. But viewing animals as being disposable and lacking empathy towards them is not a good thing, it’s immoral and wrong.
And this doesn’t just apply to the foie gras Dua is eating, even though her eating and promoting foie gras speaks volumes about how little she thinks of animals. It’s time for us to stop force feeding animals and it’s also time for us to stop mutilating, forcibly impregnating and slaughtering animals too.
Because, whether it be foie gras, pigeon, dairy, chicken, lamb, beef, fish or whatever animal product, it’s time for us to stop exploiting, harming and killing animals.People are quitting veganism. Recently a study came out that triggered a whole range of media articles declaring that veganism is unhealthy and that plant-based alternatives cause heart failure. However, there was a problem. In particular, one article published by #TheTelegraph caught my attention. #UltraProcessedFoods

Buying animal products means that you are paying for people to hurt animals on your behalf. So even if you are not the one directly exploiting, mutating and slaughtering animals, by financially supporting the people who do directly do those things, you are still morally responsible. After all, the only reason these things happen to animals is because we pay for it.

Not only that, but he then calls pork pies ‘food of the gods’. Pork pies are literally one of the most ultra-processed and unhealthy foods you can consume.
Unsurprisingly, the media jumped on Martin’s hypocritical and illogical comments, using them as another reason to slam plant-based alternatives and push a pro-meat and anti-science bias. Any credible journalism would have pointed out Martin’s hypocrisy, but who cares about logical consistency and journalistic integrity when you can use a clickbait headline.
The truth is, if Martin really cared about eating less processed food, then instead of going back to eating land animals, he should have just started eating a whole foods plant-based diet instead.“Corporations should change, not consumers!” - are vegans missing the point?Earthling Ed2024-06-11 | 🌱 Make my work possible by becoming a supporter (thank you!): http://earthlinged.org/support & http://patreon.com/earthlinged 💙 My new book How to Argue With a Meat Eater (And Win Every Time): howtoarguewithameateater.com 📚 My first book This is Vegan Propaganda (And Other Lies the Meat Industry Tells You): http://earthlinged.org/orderbook 💌 POSITIVE vegan news from me straight to your inbox! bit.ly/goodvegannews 🎤 Organise a speech from me: earthlinged.org/contact ♻️ Shop my ethical clothing brand I.D.E.A. 1.1 million more vegans in the UK in 2023 - finder.com/uk/stats-facts/uk-diet-trendsElizabeth Olsen on why she eats red meat!🥩Earthling Ed2024-03-13 | Here’s another polite reminder that science, data and ethics are more important than baseless opinions and celebrity advice. Elizabeth Olsen may be a talented actor, but we should all make sure to take her anecdotal diet advice with a huge handful of salt.
And also, considering that synonyms for the word humane include compassion, kindness and benevolence, the idea of humane meat is clearly an oxymoron, as there’s nothing kind, compassionate or benevolent about cutting someone’s throat. However, considering the way she spoke in this clip, I think it’s outrageous that Elizabeth was snubbed at last weekend’s Academy Awards - her performance as ‘meat eater in complete denial’ certainly warranted a nomination.
So no, Elizabeth doesn’t warm up her body by eating steak, but she could warm her currently cold heart towards animals by going vegan.“My brain wasn’t functioning when I was vegan!” #empoweredbycomplementEarthling Ed2024-03-01 | 🌱 Get 15% off Complement Essential, my favourite science-backed multivitamin designed for plant-based eaters at http://bit.ly/complemented and use the code ED15 at checkout! This incredibly fast rate of growth means that the bird's young bones are unable to support them, breaking under the weight and strain of their disfigured bodies - resulting in painful lameness which prevents them from eating, drinking or even standing up. Many die from dehydration or starvation because they are unable to access food and water points. Organ failure is also extremely common, with millions of birds dying from heart and lung failure before they even reach the age of slaughter.
So perhaps the real question we should be asking is, how can we ethically justify eating animals that grow so fast that their organs fail, they cannot stand up and they live in constant suffering?
Sadly, this farmer is using her lack understanding about cell-cultured meat as a reason for deciding that it must be bad. However, not understanding how something works is not a valid criticism in and of itself of that thing. So just because this farmer doesn’t understand how cell-cultured meat is created, does not therefore mean cell cultured meat is bad, especially as you can literally research how it works.
What is bad though, is needlessly causing suffering to tens of billions of animals and then slaughtering them.

After all, we want our companion animals to be euthanised in the most humane way possible and for their wellbeing to be the number one priority, which is exactly what we’re told happens to animals in slaughterhouses.
Yet, if someone tried to euthanise our companion animals by putting them in gas chambers and by cutting their throats, not only would we try to stop them, but they would be arrested for animal cruelty. So according to our laws and societal standards, killing animals in slaughterhouses is both an example of being kind and humane to animals and also an example of animal cruelty that you would be arrested for.
The fact that we wouldn’t want the animals we love to be killed in slaughterhouses demonstrates to us that we already recognise that what happens in slaughterhouses is the opposite of humane.Vegan called out on live TV! #veganismEarthling Ed2024-01-12 | Just when you think you’ve heard it all.
Some of you may remember Mike Parry from a TV segment where he referred to himself as a ‘sausage expert’ and yet ate a vegan sausage sandwich believing it to be meat. He called the vegan sausages ‘luscious and lovely’ before being told that they were vegan sausages.
One of the many great things about a plant-based diet is that you can choose whether or not to eat a plant-based alternative. However, the reason plant-based alternatives exist is so that people can have the choice to eat a product that is similar to an animal product but is more ethical. Plus, as research shows, including a review of 43 studies, they are also more sustainable and healthier than their animal counterparts too.
Study: Plant-based animal product alternatives are healthier and more environmentally sustainable than animal products. Future Foods, 2022.
#vegandebate #veganuary #veganuary2024Selena Gomez can’t eat THIS animal.Earthling Ed2024-01-09 | The fact that we draw a line when it comes to eating certain species of animals just shows how inconsistent and hypocritical our consumption of animals really is.
We eat the animals we do because of the cultures we are raised in, not because there is a moral difference between a pig and a dog, or a rabbit and a lamb. Our use and abuse of animals for food is completely contradictory and inconsistent, although it is definitely positive that we already recognise eating certain species of animals is wrong. However, it’s important that we align our actions with our values and recognise that in the same way eating dogs, cats and rabbits is wrong, eating pigs, cows, lambs and the other animals we eat is also wrong as well. #selenagomez #veganism1 vegan vs 3 meat eating panellists! In today's video, I'm back on GB News taking on a panel that question me about plant-based alternatives, the healthfulness of vegan diets, and I almost get whiplash reacting to baffling questions about protein and 'false vegetables'.
Mike Parry has referred to himself as a 'sausage expert' and yet infamously ate a vegan sausage sandwich believing that it was meat and called it 'luscious and lovely'.

I was invited onto GB News on Christmas Eve morning to have a debate with a turkey farmer. I was shocked by his response to my question about whether or not what happens to animals is compassionate and peaceful.

In today's video, I respond to Elon Musk and his outrageous and incorrect claims about veganism. However, as well as Elon's misinformation, I also react to the serious evidence that has come out against his company Neuralink. So is Elon Musk a consistent man of science, or is he just furthering his own agenda at the expense of others?

TODAY'S VIDEO:
In today's video, I take part in a live tv discussion about my new book and veganism in general on GB News. I talk about the perception of vegans, defend against the accusation that we are authoritarian and make the case that animal farming is inherently cruel and immoral.

Is veganism woke and an example of a snowflake culture? Sadly, veganism gets labelled as being woke and is discredited as being an example of virtue signalling, but is this actually true? In today's video, I discuss the hypocrisy of calling veganism woke.

In today’s video, I address the claim that veganism is ableist and respond to this argument by analysing what being vegan means and how, if anything, the argument being made is actually what is really ableist.

In today's video, I dive into the accusation that veganism is a form of left-wing tyranny that is hell-bent on removing peoples' individual freedoms. I react to recent news stories and some extremely outlandish claims made by people including by Jeremy Clarkson.

In today's video, I dive into the argument that being white and vegan is intrinsically racist. To do so, I respond to the claims made about unethical crop farming, the production of plant foods in the Global South and the wider insinuations that this argument makes. So is white veganism problematic or racist?
