Testing a Ryzen 5 1600 paired with the GeForce GTX 1660 Super from the $100 GPUs video... what is Zen 1 capable of in 2023? Anything worthwhile?

Games tested include Cyberpunk 2077, BeamNG.drive, VRChat, Synth Riders, Quake, and Starfield.

I look at basic system performance as-built, as well as upgrades and an alternative CPU that might make more sense in 2023.
