In this video I drive the full-size R2-D2 replica on public streets about 1/2 mile to a nearby park where I take a short drive through some fairly thick, wet grass, then I make the return drive back home. This is meant to demonstrate the speed, robustness, drivability, and durability of the single front wheel hub motor in combination with the pneumatic tires the droid uses.
