A ride to memorialize RR Lee Ermey, a Marine and actor famous for being the Gunnery Sargent on Full Metal Jacket. A street was named in his honor in Palmdale California. The American Legion Riders were asked, and were glad to escort his family members to the event. I was running a little late to this one and thought I wouldn't make it, but I slid into the group just as we were taking off. Great time, great cause, and great guy.
