Short games vs. Long games (a romantic analysis) @HaloOnPlaystation

Halo On Playstation When I was young, I thought long games I could get lost in were the coolest kind because I wanted to escape reality.
As an adult, I want short and dense games that will give me as much satisfaction as possible so I can get back to reality.
Which one do you prefer? What makes short games or long games fun for you, or do you like both equally? Have you actually spent more time in short games, or long games?
(For the sake of clarity, let's say that short games are ones you can potentially beat in a single afternoon.)

SONY will stop making game discs in 2028... lets get existential about it

Halo On Playstation 2026-07-01 | Sony announced they are not making discs for new games anymore as of 2028 (assumably when the PS6 will release, even tho the PS5 still only has like 5 games on it). A lot of people are upset about it, but I can't imagine purchasing a new Sony product anyways so I got philosophical about it instead.
