Abstract: Knot-quiver correspondence provided a picture of BPS state counts in 3d N=2 theories associated to symmetric quivers. On the other hand, we have another, well established construction of BPS states in 4d N=2 theories which also correspond to quivers, but not symmetric ones. In this talk I will give an answer for an obvious and long-standing question about the relation between these two perspectives
