Last week a certain platform decided my educational videos were “seggsually gratifying” (its this one). Instead of targeting individual videos, like they have for years, they decided my whole page was “inappropriate” Is it time to talk about the LGBTQ+ pay gap in content creation yet? 👀👀👀
wlw seggsuality is the most over seggsualized and under educated/researched demographic. Our identities are not C0rnographic. We deserve access to education, community, and answers to our questions.
I have wasted so much of my time in my career fighting censorship on these social media platforms. Time that could be better spent doing my actual job of making educational content that I wish I had when I was young.
Queer/lesbian seggs ed is NOT inappropriate and I will unalive on this hill.
