I went on a minimal winter camp out with a 20lb's worth of gear in a backpack and my sleeping bag/sleeping pad/ and a wool blanket.
My goal was to make a quinzhee and survive the night within it. Temperatures got down low...but the quinzhee stayed very cozy warm.
