Hello friends!
I’m Elisabetta, an Italian watercolor artist with a passion and a curiosity for art supplies and pigments.
Today I am continuing the exploration of Quinacridone pigment family with Quinacridone Gold. The genuine pigment, PO49, has been discontinued a few years ago, but there are many hues available for artists. Each brand has different formula and different result! Many of Quin Gold hues, however, use PO48 and PR206, pigments that will have to be replaced in near future as they have been discontinued too. Can Quinacridone Gold be replicated without these 2 pigments? Lets find out in the video!

ERRATA CORRIGE In the video I'm saying that DS Quin Gold is using PY151 and PO48, that is a mistake. Actually the formula is the same as Deep Quin Gold by DS, PY150 + PO48, just in a different ratio. I apologise for this error!
