Because when you work, even if it's technically just 8 hours plus lunch plus commute, it drains your entire day's battery. People don't talk about this, but it does. When I started quiet quitting, I felt that when I got home, the battery was at 50 percent instead of 5 percent. It was a huge improvement in my wellbeing.
