This is a quick look at the Cameo Lanc cable.
This cable was provided for review by AbelCine in NYC.

The Cameo LANC Cables convert closed circuit trigger signals from a handgrip or video lens to a LANC record/stop signal and a second user-assignable function (on compatible cameras). In this video, I use it with a ENG B4-mount lens on a JVC LS300 Super35mm video camera to start and stop recording, as well as to toggle whatever I assign to user function #4 by pressing the RET(URN) button on the lens' grip.
This makes it possible to use this large sensor 4K camcorder in a typical "ENG-style" operation with an on-shoulder brace.
The LANC circuitry is protected in a housing that about the size of an AA battery and is powered from the LANC port.
Compatible cameras include:
Sony cameras including FS7, FS700, FS100
Canon cameras including C100, C300, C500, XF-105
Blackmagic Pocket Cinema, Cinema, Production 4K, and URSA cameras
JVC cameras including JVC GY-HM170, GY-HM200, GY-HM300, GY-HM600, GY-HM650, GY-HM850, GY-HM890, and the GY-LS300
