This is the final and best iteration in the Walther P88 family. The full-size P88s were great, but needed some refinements. The P88 Compacts improved upon them, and the Competition and Champion models were the culmination of Walther's efforts. The SAO trigger is particularly noteworthy for its amazing break. It may be the best trigger in my collection. While I feel this is Walther's best piece of work (for the range, at least; it's not a combat or CCW gun), I do not shoot it terribly frequently, which is my excuse for the less-than-stellar group size shown in the video. It is capable of excellent accuracy, though.
Note: Walther also made the CP88, which is a CO2 version of this gun and quite popular among C02 pistol shooters. If you go looking for a P88 Competition/Champion, don't get confused!
