Although it starts off a little slow, X is a truly thoughtful, high-quality horror movie homage to the likes of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and low-budget sexploitation slashers. Complete with a great cast, some truly tense moments and an excellent make-up department, this is a welcome return for Ti West after his six-year absence from cinema.
