Even though I bought ZIP before being involved with Unfiltered Audio it only seems fair to mention my involvement with the brand

Here's a quick tip that I use a lot when I need to manage quite sounds and fades. Where technically some gates have setting for this sort of thing as well I find it more easy to dial this in with ZIP due to the interface and the way it reacts to sounds crossing below the threshold. This is always my go-to tool for gating snare (even though it's not a gate) and for taking care of lingering reverb.
