Nick Driftwood | Quick Tip to final grade a V-Log 'Look' LUT plus False Colour Checking @driftwoodtv | Uploaded January 2023 | Updated October 2024, 22 hours ago.
Here's a quickie to show how to use Davinci Resolve to quickly check exposure and adjust the original LUT to suit your requirement.
We use Davinci's Multi Version Display function, together with False Colour, a simple S curve and Saturation and contrast to adjust the Look LUT to lift skin tones or lower highlights where needed. You may also want to add a film grain LUT or function to the final version.
Hope this little tip helps!
