I show a quick easy method of winter time campfire pot suspension. This is just one of many many methods of accomplishing this. This is the method I choose most often for quick winter use.

Hot Tent Too Cold? Make It Hotter With These Tips

$Make A Pyramid or Range Hot Tent On The Cheap Lonnie goes into great detail on how you can make your own hot tent using two 12 foot by 16 foot poly tarps. This tent style has been known as a Range tent, pyramid tent, miners or prospectors tent. The cost for making this tent is just a tiny fraction of a commercially made pyramid tent. You will also learn how to install a stove jack to turn this tent into a warm and comfortable long term shelter. This tent is now over a year old and has gone on several trips into the backcountry wilderness of Alaska including several epic river trips that have logged well over 300 river miles over several weeks. It has been hauled into the Alaskan winter wilderness by snowmachine and camped in at temperatures as low as 5 degrees above zero Fahrenheit so far. I am very pleased with this tent.
