Looking for a super fast and easy unisex scarf? Perfect for men or women, the look of this scarf can be easily changed simply with your colour choices! This scarf is a REALLY simple textured stitch pattern, it grows length first then width. Ideal for beginners and produces a quick and stylish scarf. ONE ROW PATTERN REPEAT!

🧢 YARN INFO:

Sirdar No1 Aran Stonewashed in shades 807 Chalk Paint and 800 Sea Wash

For my scarf, I used 1 and a half balls of the white and just half a ball of the blue.

5.5mm hook

πŸ“Œ For my scarf, I started with 193 Foundation Half Double Crochet stitches (link to how to do the FHDC: youtu.be/MHo70BNBIzw )

πŸ‘‰ If you do not want to do foundation stitches to start, then simply chain your desired length and then add 2 chains - work your first hdc into the 3rd from your hook

I did 15 rows for the width, 3 of white followed by 1 of blue.

πŸ”₯ Frequently Asked Questions:

*Do you have a left handed version of this video?* If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on YouTube yourself! Simply go to mirrorthevideo.com and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!

*How much yarn will I need?* This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!

*How many squares do I need for a blanket?* That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want πŸ˜€

*Do you have the written pattern?* Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. *All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website*

*How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's?* Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.

*Can you remake this video so it is slower?* If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! πŸ˜€ See this video on exactly how: youtu.be/LIRYwkkI_4Y

*Why do you use American stitch terminology?* I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! hookedbyrobin.com/crochet-stitch-conversions
