Quick cut (beta) is a new addition to Firefly video editor that helps you create a rough timeline from your video to help you get started. Use an open ended prompt to help guide the direction of the edit, from major points you want to cover to the types of supplemental B-roll footage you want to include. Quick cut can also analyze your B-roll footage and make smart decisions where to place it in a second track, helping lead to better visual diversity. In this walkthrough I'll show a couple of examples where I've used it: reviewing a video game controller and cutting together a nonprofit interview for social media. Firefly prevents creating content that infringes copyright or intellectual property rights, and is designed to be commercially safe.
