Queen's recording studio, Mountain Studios, was located inside Casino Barrière in Montreux, Switzerland. Queen recorded seven albums here between 1979 and 1996. Today the studio has been transformed to an interactive exhibition open to public.
The exhibition includes lots of photos and memorabilia. The control room has not been changed except for the mixer desk, replaced by a reproduction, which allows visitors re-mix some of the Queen classics. The spot where Freddie Mercury recorded his last song is marked within the control room.
