About the Album
Released on June 2, 1986, "A Kind of Magic" became an instant classic, serving as the unofficial soundtrack to the cult-classic film Highlander. Following their iconic performance at Live Aid in 1985, Queen returned to the studio with renewed energy, creating an album that would eventually go 2x Platinum in the UK.
