My take on Quattro/IV's theme in Duel Links, releasing just in time for his unlock event! Little known fact about me I am a very avid DL player... probably too avid... if you play, have fun during the event! This theme is one of my favorites in DL, I remember listening to it and going insane over it before his roaming event back in April? Everyone say thank you Konami

Much of my musical background is in classical music, so I had a lot of fun with the waltz style the theme is composed in! Starting 00:15, it follows a very typical waltz format, with the accented 1st beat and 2nd and 3rd light beats in the bass line. But as the song progresses it sort of devolves from the standard waltz. For example, it plays with a duple meter despite being triple meter at parts like at the intermission between the two parts at 00:42 and at the buildup right before the end. Besides all that, there's the chords and chord progressions ! The theme loves its B harmonic minor and there was tons of room for accidentals and slips in the key, letting it sound extra insane. I love the sudden and brief C major at 1:27, a glint of hope before the frenzied buildup to the end. Speaking of the end, I made the last three measures up because obviously in the real one it would go into a loop. It's basic and kind of a cliche but hey it works lol
