This video tries to uncover some of the myths surrounding the quarterstaff, such as, that the weapon doesn't cause much damage? or that a man can block a quarterstaff with his hand or his arm ? This isn't to say that an untrained man who picks up a quarterstaff couldn't be beaten, but this video addresses trained quarterstaff people against a man who blocks with his arm and then attempts to run through the quarterstaff man with a sword ?
