I made this animation on a whim in like the span of an afternoon. Nothing fancy, no colors, no lineart. I just thought the clip was funny and I wanted to animate my interpretation of Q!Roier just talking to himself in the mirror while mildly hallucinating his own reflection coming to life XD. I also tried to translate what they were saying into English, but it’s not a “one-to-one” translation, I more-so translated the general meaning of what was being said. My 6 years of grade school Spanish and google translate skills are coming in handy XD

Happy Valentine’s Day! I decided to just take it easy with this month’s upload and do something quick and fun! I actually did this meme like 4 years ago back in high school and I’ve been wanting to make an updated one ever since. I felt like Valentine’s would be the perfect day to do it!
I decided to animate this updated version around the rediscovery of my romantic orientation! For those of you who don’t know, the flag that kinda looks like a watermelon is the abrosexual/abroromantic flag! What it means is that your sexual/romantic orientation is fluid and changes. I personally Identify as abroromantic because after reflecting on my experiences with romantic attraction, I realized that my romantic attraction has changed a couple of times throughout my life (started off heteroromantic, then biromantic, then demiromantic, and most recently aromantic). I only realized this around about last year when it suddenly occurred to me that I hadn’t had a crush on anyone in 4 YEARS! As someone who used to have a crush on a different person each year, I wonder how I didn’t realize sooner XD
Of course, it’s not a happy Valentine’s day without a gentle reminder to love yourself too! Treat yourself to something nice today, and practice self care. Valentine’s day should be a celebration of all types of love, so even if you don’t have a significant other to share this holiday with, your life is full of love! And don’t you forget that.

I finally found that one song in Barbie that I really liked and started looping it. The next thing I knew, I blacked out twice and drew two pieces of intensely oversaturated sparkly fan art for a really obscure character. Music sure is one hell of a drug XD
(Info about Melissa, the character featured in the video: she’s a character created by Roier on the QSMP. She hasn’t had a lot of screen time, but she’s got a lot of fan art. Haven’t been able to draw her in a way that I was satisfied with, until I heard this song. Instantly got Melissa vibes and proceeded to draw TWO pieces of her within the span of 24 hours. I might be a bit insane XD let’s just say music is really powerful when it hits right)

I actually decided to write the poem to just throw out a bunch of ideas that I wanted to put in the song itself, but then decided that just the poem alone is a pretty good intro to the song! The album version will be without the poem but when the single version comes out, it will be the version with the poem!
