Roll in backstabs are probably one of the most reliable backstab you can pull off in ER, so it's very usefult to have a tool that forces your opponents to roll into you. Glintstone Nails is definetly not as good as giant golden arc and fire serpent. Why ? That's because the recovery out of the spell is quite big. Sometimes, in order to get the grab, you have to swith to off dagger. But it's the only spell i found for now that forces a roll in. I experimented with glinstone arc and rock sling but the recovvery is even more atrocious on both even with max cast speed.Freyja curved great sword is here for looks tbh, I experimented a bit with different wake ups, as expected, gravitationnal missile is nuts, but spinning gravity thrust is also a great one !I hope you enjoy, let me know in the comments if you have any ideas for baits that I have yet to cover.Take care ev and thx for watching👌Music : This City Made Us, The Protomen

The concept is the same as the giant golden arc backstab, but you absolutely need to handy tech recover out of spell to quickly grab the back. The spear and thread serve the same purpose. One does more damage and goes longer, the other cost less FP. the recovery is about the same.The gist of it is that you can not only cast this from a medium distance to catch roll ins, but also as a wake up! If they roll away you can frametrap, if they roll in ...It's a very fun set up and Also it's super good, I highly recommend it!I made a themed build around Arachne from the Greek mythology around it too. Magic mayhem - Elden Ring PvP rl81 montage Cosimo Medicis 2025-05-16 | Hey you allThis week I felt like revisiting the myriad build I had and all of it's quircks :)I ended up finding some fun stuff to try out ! By having the Carian sorcery sword I now don't Have a L2 stick anymore, with means that some weapon that have a bit of a weak ash of war become more usable (like st Trina Velvet sword which has critical modifier and is the longest ss in the game). The one I settled with is wing of pastel because of its R2's. I use it to bait roll ins just like you would with a whip. Even thou you don't have access to a block cancel here, it doesn't matter cause on the 2nd main slot I Have a sharp misericord to cast assassin approach, with means I can hand tech out of a lot of stuff to grab the backstab.There's also a lot of magic combo's in here like glintblade trio, myriam's to make them lose sight of the blades, to astel r2 to carina piercer. Death knight axes backstab bait - Elden ring pvp meta and low level Cosimo Medicis 2025-04-27 | Hey everyone,Just 2 weeks ago, I thought it was done, I couldn't find any more backstab stuff that no one tried before, that I tarnished that well... But I was wrong :)) after looking at the different ashes in the game I tried giving blinkbolt another try, another chance as in because you can't do a reverse blink backstab sadly. For backstabbing blinkbolt is sadly useless, the recovery out of it is veeeery long even with the block cancel. But for whatever reason, both the death knight twin axes and the Death Knight's Longhaft Axe have a faster recovery out of the blinkbolt part of the ash of war. And it got me thinking... What do you have to do to dodge the second part of the death knight twin axes ?Thats right you guessed it ; roll in. This is a roll in bait backstab video, it's the gift that keeps on giving ! Both weapons require you to roll in, but the twin axes version is more threatening and will give you the ability to catch more experienced players. So I thought I would combine the 2 and do myriam's backstab, vortex of putrescence wakeup and rellana' aow. It's veery deadlyOk build making talk. This is a minimal stat int/faith build for the sorceries I was interested in. What I'm more into was a way to get max cast speed. It was originally Fel's idea at first, so I ended up finishing my build before him :) No but seriously, if you still haven't played around with this tali, you really should. Unlike kindred of rot exultation, the buff resets itself every critical you land, and the buff applies to the subsquential critical. It makes landing wake ups so much more satisfying, or you can also swap the tali. It's definitely a better talisman than the dagger tali imo, as it rewards aggressive fishing plays.I really tried to make blade of Ansbach work with this build, but the damage is just reeeaaally bad. Through fire and thunder, rl 46 dex faith - Elden ring pvp invasion montage Cosimo Medicis 2025-02-03 | Hey you all, I've decided to go through another character through the dlc and complete the game. This time by using my 46 dex faith build. Before the dlc dropped I was using dragon king crag blade and the backstabs linked to the hts weapon class. But the dlc introduced queenlign, and I've yet to see someone talk about how BUSTED that weapon is at lower rl standard infused. It out damages even the flame art or fire infused with the flame spear buff when bundled (without the counter damage). How ? Well when standard infused it keeps the base damage of the physical part AND the flame part (welcome back dragons layer axe from ds3). The same applies for the bugs and the dagger. Roll in backstabs are probably one of the most reliable backstab you can pull off in ER, so it's very usefult to have a tool that forces your opponents to roll into you. Giant Golden arc is tied with fire serpent for me as the best bait for roll ins. They both have ups and downs, the downside of giant golden arc is that instead of rolling it you can jump it (Thou be careful if you get stunned out of the jump by mistiming it, you are vunerable to a backstab grab, I showcase it in the video, try to find it and tell me in the comments ;) ).The main weapon I'm using is the sacred relic sword because, for one its r1 isn't that bad, so if you miss the grab, you aren't stuck with a bad move (contrary to light gs). 2nd, it's one of the few weapons that has a crit modifier wich aint bad at all ! Finally, its the 2nd longest gs in the game.This video took less time to make because of the fact that I was way more lucky on grabbing the footage (wich is also a testament on how good this is), so I hope you try it out.I wil continue to try to find other roll in baits, but dlc stuff has sure given us plenty here !Anyways thank you everyone, and I hope you enjoy watching this video !
Smithscript Cirque and more backstabs, INT/FAITH build - Elden ring PVP - Patch 1.14 Cosimo Medicis 2024-09-14 | Hi everyone, Back again with another montage, this time on a INT/FAITH build. Thanks to the DLC this build got a lot of cool tools, from the DLC. One of those tools is the smithscript Cirque. The scaling from int or faith on E is bad, but cold infuse it and you will get a menace of a weapon that deals insane damage close or medium range ! Spear of the Impaler - Elden Ring PVP (Invasions and duels) Cosimo Medicis 2024-09-06 | Hi all, I have cooked up a new set up to fish for backstabs, it works similarly to fishing backstab with the whip (but Cosi, you can't bs with a whip) by baiting a roll in, you can position yourself to get a backstab pretty consistently.So here, fire serpent isn't only used to set up combo's and frame trap people with the impaler spear (which is the longest btw) but also to bait out roll in's. Then after the backstab you can set up a wake up with the messmer's orb (btw it's also very good for corners).All and all this dex faith is a lot of fun, lots of tool available, special mention to the fire coil that just compliment fire serpent sooooo well (and they do so much damage on the build, I could probably go deathless by just spamming those things).I hope you enjoy the vid, thx everyone !I want to thank @RedSetGoYT who helped me test out the backstabs, you can spot him somewhere in here :)
STR/FAITH build, the fisher invader bait - Elden ring PVP Cosimo Medicis 2024-09-01 | Hi everyone, this video took a while to make fresh out of my vacations, my fish were rusty, but, that build doesn't care about that because quickstep backstabs are just so easy to learn and perform !The main idea of the build in itself, is to leverage the fact that the sword of damnation also gets buffed by the dagger talisman. Out of a backstab, the swap is very tight, but if you get it, it is basically death (duh honestly you could make a gs of damnation only build and get better results, but that's boring)I went with the fire knight greatsword as my quickstep weapon because I also wanted to add in another backstab tech on the grill, but honestly I'm not consistent at that tech yet, so that will have to wait for another video :)I also tried to add in soem of the backstabs I kow how to perform (the rollcatch bs, the roll bs, the roll in bs...), I hope you enjoy the video, take care everyone !Soundtrack : The Unsung War - Ace Combat 5 - Epic Metal Coveryoutu.be/DHTRQTXyFuA
Obsidian Lamina with a twist... - Elden Ring Pvp Cosimo Medicis 2024-08-03 | This is the Fisher's best friend and my current favorite weapon in ER. On paper it's worse than all the others scythes in the game and is mostly a Dexterity weapon. It's weapon art, while the I-frames are good, is quite reactable. The damage pales in comparaison to a grave scythe or a normal scythe...But, you can use the 1st part of the aow as a backstep to fish for backstabs, "ravioli style", true enough, out of the Qs part of the aow, the r1 comes out as a crouch R1. It's a very versatile tool and you can backstab almost any chain of attacks in the game with it.I hope you enjoy my montage 😉
How to counter the most broken build in elden ring, Spread crossbow with Thiollier hidden needle Cosimo Medicis 2024-07-17 | The talismant combo shown here completly negates the thiollier's needle cheese. Also in order to avoid the follow up hit of the needle, you just need to jump the sleep.
