A DummieDisclaimer: I do not actually have ten thousand hours in SFM. Ten thousand hours is around 416 days of SFM, while my actual hours, 8435, is around 351 days of SFM. Breaching the one-year mark will take me 8760 hours, which is quite attainable at my current rate.
I think doing this whole animation thing has permanently warped me. Hopefully, in beneficial ways.

It has not. Still, I have a schedule to keep for my SFMs, so here you go. Aptly named "Scream Fortress", I might join the TF2 team's footsteps to make 16 SFM animations and make them slightly different.
So, Halloween! TF2! Monoculus! Funny hats! Memes! Halloween bosses! 7 minute rounds! The truce! Working together to destroy and eliminate a giant glowing eye in the sky before it blows you into a thousand pieces! Wearing pieces of birds as hats! Engineers setting up sentry nests outside your fucking spawn! Cosmetics that would make Slanessh proud!
Scream Fortress truly is the staple of TF2 in a time of dying and dead Youtubers, ones who leave the land for greener pastures or ones who give it up entirely. Me myself? I've not gotten to play a game of TF2 in Halloween since I spend most of my time in SFM. Still, I hope the spirit of Scream Fortress is captured.
Also since we're here, I have a story to tell. Back in 2015's Scream Fortress update (the one where contracts were added), I was on a game of the Merasmus map and had a contract that needed me to kill a certain level Merasmus. In order to get to that level, we had to kill Merasums many, many times. This was before truces were added, so it was an uphill battle to rally everyone to stop killing each other. Eventually though, there were comrades on the other team who agreed. And we immediately set off to kicking members of each other's team who did not agree to the ceasefire. Any time we were not shooting at Merasmus, we'd conga, and any time Merasmus showed up, we stopped congaing and shot him. This went on for a good 30 minutes, during which our entourage survived 1 server switch. Sadly, the TF2 magic is gone with the introduction of the truce.

Or win. Either way, you're not enjoying your "TF2 gameplay". If this even counts as TF2 gameplay.
Yes, this is a short SFM. Next week's video should have more action sequences. I am starting to work on new TF2 SFMs, and I hope you enjoy them. Both YT shorts and full-length SFM animations. Maybe I should convert this into a short.
Also, this SFM originally came with a different thumbnail, of Medic going "neuron activation" when he sees Upward in the sever map rotation. But this came up and I thought it was funny as shit.

If not, I'm coming to your house and killing you myself!
We all know that feeling. Be it crit rocket or a burst from a minigun. I hope this video captures some of the comedy from regular TF2 interactions. I, for one, have a bind that immediately posts Uncle Dane's "Random Crits" video in the chat every time I die to one.
Also, my so-called "AI Youtube assistant" wants me to call this video "I Tested Clusterfort Random Crits and Found the BEST Strategy". What a piece of shit.
Speaking of, I have not died to a random crit in a long time. It might be because I spent a lot of time in servers without it enabled.

But "TF2's Instakill Tutorial (2024 still working)" is too funny of a title. It looks like something Uncle Dane or Soundsmith would post.
Taunt Kills! One of the core tenants of TF2! A good source of le funny, and effective way to dispatch Saxton Hale. But mostly le funny.
Some of you may actually be here to learn how to instakill in TF2 in 2024. If that's the case, you're in the wrong place. Go back to skidibi toilet and enjoy your fanum tax or whatever the zoomers call brainrot these days. If you insist on staying, then watch the animation. It'll tell you how to instakill.
In this video, Engineer Gaming and Soldier: 76 (but mostly Soldier) attempt to explain to Scout what a taunt kill is, what it's for, and no, why you can't do it instantly.
And to any F2Ps watching, if you've never done a taunt kill in TF2 before, I encourage you to do it now. And maybe upload it to some TF2 funny moments thing. Hey, it worked for Uncle Dane.

Have a look around. Anything the internet has shown you can be found. We've got update-sized updates, some better, some worse. If none of it makes sense to you? You won't be the first.
I preemptively apologize to any Fortnite players who might mistake the Scout as an attack on Fortnite. I've not played enough Fortnite to actually give a crap, I mostly stick to the TF2 side of the fence. If you want to watch legitimate TF2/Fortnite content, I recommend Hoovy Tube, ceno0, or Kostamoinen.
I kid you not, most of this SFM was done by the 3rd of October, 2023. Life, however, got in the way.
There are more SFMs next week. Yes, more animation next week, on Friday.
Yes, I have decided to sell out on YT shorts.[SFM] Kill Saxton HaleA Dummie2023-08-19 | This is what I imagine every round of Versus Saxton Hale to go, in a nutshell. All hail Gaben and our Valve overlords for the new TF2 update (after 6 years, in 2023!) and the new gamemode. May our throats be safe from all the screaming that being hunted by Saxton Hale induces.
If you liked it, rate it on Steam. I don't know how it could possibly help, just that it does.[SFM] If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games - (1 - 5) SupercutA Dummie2023-07-15 | I got bored and made this. If you have watched all 5 If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games, then you don't need to watch this. But I know most of you haven't, so just watch the SFM. Most of you probably only watched the 3rd one.
Have you ever wondered what TF2 would be like if it was mixed with other games? No? Well, fuck you, because I did it anyway.
A few things of note:
I have made cuts to this video, and cut out some things that I found a bit boring. Sadly this axed a bit of 4 and 2.
I have made no attempt to touch up the animation. Because I generally don't find much point in remastering old SFMs. As long as the joke lands, that's good with me.

Really, more an excuse to animate some SCP related "tactical" action scenes in SFM/S2FM. Those are fun to animate.
Yes, those are Half-Life 1 HECU models I am using for the enemy forces. No, I couldn't get one from any GoIs hostile to the SCP Foundation, like GOC or Scarlet King or any of that stuff. I tried. Retexturing the models to something more SCP-like is something I'll explore in future SCP animations.
No, I don't know whether I'll go back to SFM for a while. Animations in S2FM (especially realistic ones) are less time-consuming. This video took 150 hours in S2FM but could have taken 190-200 in SFM. Though the TF2 resources in S2FM are far fewer, so I'll have to find a way to import my kit. Or stick with SCP animations until someone imports the proper files into S2FM.
Also, action is really fun to make, even though it takes a lot longer.
SCP: Saferoom is loosely based on SCP-4856 by MaliceAForeThought, who brought it to my attention a long time ago and drilled a hole in my mind since. scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4856
Of course, most of the animation isn't based on any single SCP, but a series of random tales involving MTFs I have read over the last 7 or so years. SCP: Saferoom is based on an old video that Callegos made about Solid Snake fighting guys to the beat of Blue Monday, but I think he took it down or something.
So, my first incursion into Source 2 Filmmaker. I hope it goes well. I think Youtube has put the channel in algorithm hell for some reason and hopefully SCP: Saferoom does well enough.
And in case you don't know, the song is Blue Monday by New Order.
If you liked it, rate it on Steam. I don't know how it could possibly help, just that it does.
Trivia:
Again, an animation that took too long. I don't know why. It might be something to do with the learning curve of S2FM.
The animation progress started on 13/04/23, ending on 03/07/23. My laptop died mid-way, during the early progress. It died from pure overuse, which is anomalous for laptops only 2.5 years old. I probably cooked it.
My favorite SCPs are still 2639, 3780, 4856, 093, 1861, and 3021.
This is my first animation in 24 FPS in 5 years. This is because I don't know why S2FM refuses to animate properly in the usual 60 FPS. I think it looks fine, but the motion blur difference is still odd to me. I hope it doesn't minimise your enjoyment.
The MTFs cannot move their faces. This is like SCP: Ordinary World, but worse. All models had serious issues with faceposing, which proved a challenge since a lot of my shots and signature moves rely on emoting, and nobody talks in this animation.[SFM] SCP: Trick or TreatA Dummie2023-04-01 | The original SCP: Trick or Treat, from the amazing Door Monster: youtube.com/watch?v=giCjElyPS9A
SCP: Trick or Treat. A trick or treater finds himself trick or treating at the wrong door on Halloween night and engages with a scientist of the SCP Foundation, learning what the SCP Foundation is, the meaning of "Secure, Contain, Protect", as well as what they intend to do with the average D-Class.
I'm pretty sure "SCP-5712" doesn't actually exist and only exists for SCP: Trick or Treat. The fine folks at Door Monster (the creators of the original SCP: Trick or Treat) made it up on the spot for their skit and this SCP animation (so far from SCP canon, put the pitchforks down) doesn't change that. I can't think of any other SCP that is similar to this on the spot though I'm sure someone better read on SCPs would be aware. I haven't been reading much after Series 4 SCPs.
And as someone who's never gone trick or treating (Hong Kong doesn't lend well to houses or candy for children), I'm going to assume this is how things work. Children and "children" get taken from their houses and recruited as D-Class for the SCP Foundation.
For some reason this video has been tagged as a "creepypasta". Is this SFM what counts as a creepypasta these days? That is sad.
It's also been associated with SCP: Secret Lab, which makes a bit more sense since there are models used from SCP: Secret Lab. And SCP: Containment Breach.
And after SCP: Ordinary World, I'm quite happy to work with TF2-based models again since they're easier. I'll see how this video receives and determine my next step. If TF2 SFM models remain a viable option, I'll stick to TF2 models for a future SCP animation series. But if this video fails to gain traction, I'll swap to realistic models for SCP animation in the future.
- This SFM should not have taken 373 hours. My last SCP SFM took 240 hours, and it's likely this is the case because I spent a lot of animation time playing Cyberpunk Red in the background. A friend is running a SCP-themed Cyberpunk Red game so yeah. Of course, SCP: Ordinary World also took far more time to animate so there's that.
- After this I'm animating a long (25-30 mins) TF2 SFM I've been planning since 25/09/2017. Expect shorter videos and the "If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games" collab in the meantime. As well as a minor SCP series of 6 1-minute SCP-related short films.
-There are many subtle references to my other TF2 and SCP SFMs. See if you can find any. And as usual, no hints.
- The scientist's face animations didn't work in SFM properly meaning I had to manually lipsync with no machine assistance. That was annoying.
- My favorite SCPs are still 2639, 3780, 4856, 093, 1861, and 3021.
- I'll see you in June with something more action-focused. Might be TF2, might be SCP. Depends on how this video receives.[SFM] Bullet TimeA Dummie2022-11-19 | The Spy and the Scout attempt to cross a bridge on 2fort. Of course, this being TF2, things do not go as planned. Things very much do not go as planned, hence the wobbly eyes and guns thrown around and TF2 memes. And there are bots. Like, lots of them. Because of course there are bots in TF2.
Bullet Time should mark the first "normal" TF2 SFM I've had in a while. Starting work has been beneficial to my time schedule, if it wasn't for the fact that animation is a long process and being AFK on many weekends disrupts animating.
Next SFM will be a TF2 SCP, so there. Will be heavily comedy-based, that one. Based on a Door Monster sketch, another good one worth converting into animation. And I'm trying to regain my sense of TF2 SFM comedy so there's that too. Hopefully we'll see more neck extensions and googly eyes akin to the old GMod style.
And this is also to prove a point. Human suffering (poor Scout and poor Spy) *is* entertaining in this context. Yes, TF2 SFMs are a niche context, but I'm certain other animations also benefit from this context.
If you liked it, rate it on Steam. I don't know how it could possibly help, just that it does.
------
Trivia: - This is a return to TF2 SFMs, which I quite welcome. Hopefully the algo, which thinks I'm a SCP animation guy apparently, welcomes this SFM as much as I do. - I actually followed TTMR's SFM animation tutorial after finishing the last video. Only to have it not as applicable in slow motion. SFM looks better when movements are quick, like in Medic's School for Medics. - Most of the meme sounds were a last minute addition after I felt like it. My sense of humor finally returned after 4 hours of Pootis Engage, Team Fabulous 2, TF2 Air and Better Call Mom. Thank you, Gmod animations. - I listened to a copious amount of blink-182 while working on this video.[SFM] SCP: Ordinary WorldA Dummie2022-08-06 | A team of MTFs, a D-Class, and a scientist are tasked with moving an SCP in a site. Of course, things do not go as planned and the SCP Foundation is attacked. The MTFs must fight on, or face death. Just an ordinary day in this ordinary world (roll credits).
Enough with the melodramatics. I wanted to animate some shootouts in dark environments, and this SFM seemed like a good choice. The corridors of an SCP site (or at least, how I imagine SCP sites to be) can be both dark and industrial, as well as bright and clean, making them good places for a shootout.
Influenced by SCP-2639, which is basically 3 teenagers who are trapped in a computer to play Quake forever. And also they spawn into our real world and cause destruction. That last element is what I focused on; the creature that spawned in at the end is the SCP itself, manifesting to save the MTFs. And then killing the final MTF.
In many ways, the song "Ordinary World" preceded the video itself. Someone talked to me a while ago about making a video on anomalies with the song "Ordinary World". My mind eventually wandered to other SCP song type animations, like Site-65 Remastered. And this entire animation sprung up around the song. It's my hope that Ordinary World is a better SCP animation than most SCP songs because those animations, while made by passionate people, could use a face-up.
And as usual, this is far from SCP canon. It's just a dumb SFM animation adapted from no particular SCP (wow); don't get your panties in a bunch. The song fits, hopefully. Ordinary World is a good song. The Evil Dead 2 one, not the Green Day one (I like that one too, but that's not relevant) which will get me demonetized.
Normally, this is where I would explain the SCP that this video is based on, but since it's based on multiple SCPs (one of which being SCP-2639, the best article on the site and you should go read it), I will not. Includes SCP-2639, SCP-173, and SCP-035 as the main ones spotted, though the observant among you should spot other SCPs involved.
- Ordinary World's first shots were made in a hostel bed in Ottawa.
- Ordinary World took 8 months, the longest stretch of time I have spent on a video. This also took 421 hours, which is also quite long considering this video is under 4 minutes. Normally I spend 60 hours per minute. This one clocks at 105 hours/minute.
- SCP-2639 is my favorite SCP, but I never got around animating something of this nature. Likely due to me not having any idea how to do a script that isn't just the SCP article itself.
- There are many subtle references to my other TF2 and SCP videos. See if you can find any. And as usual, no hints.
- Fluff, the girl who cut the song into around 3 minutes, is from Indonesia, which has just banned Paypal. So now I might finance her with trinkets and baubles, paid for in blood.
- My favorite SCPs are still 2639, 3780, 4856, 093, 1861, and 3021.
- The MTFs cannot blink. All models had serious issues with faceposing, which proved a challenge since a lot of my shots and signature moves rely on emoting.
- See you in September with a TF2 SFM.[SFM] SCP-3780 | Time Travelers vs J.F.K.A Dummie2021-11-25 | "Excellent work! Now do it again!"
SCP-3780, "Who Killed JFK?", an SCP animation where the SCP Foundation embarks on a neverending journey to ensure that JFK is killed when he does, despite attempts from other time travelers to stop them. Will the SCP Foundation succeed? Will they fail? Will SCP-3780 be broken forever and breach containment, whatever that could possibly mean?
Another attempt at creating an SCP animation with TF2 characters in SFM, this time taking 3780. Hopefully with a stronger focus on humor instead of drama. And a smidge of action with time travel. Adopting my 2nd favorite SCP for an SFM animation seemed only fitting, especially since that SCP-3780 is humorous in it's own right.
And as usual, this is far from canon. It's just a dumb SFM animation featuring the Engineer and the Scout from TF2 slaughtering assassins by the thousands for 200 years. It's just an SFM thing adapted from an SCP; don't get your panties in a bunch.
------ SCP-3780 describes the collective attempts by various individuals, third parties, and separate temporal versions of the Foundation to prevent the assassination of United States President John Fitzgerald Kennedy by Lee Harvey Oswald on 22 November, 1963. ------ Context for those who don't understand what this SCP animation is about, or want to know more about SCP-3780:
SCP-3780 is all the attempts by people, time travelers or not, to stop the assassination of JFK. The SCP Foundation (specifically, the Temporal Anomalies Department) deem it necessary to ensure that JFK is assassinated since that preserves the timeline. Or so they think. The first shot involves an agent's first mission, while the senior agent shows him the ropes.
The agents of the Temporal Anomalies Department begin a campaign to aggressively stop any attempts at "changing the timeline" before they spiral out of control, utilizing their time travel capabilities for this purpose, which was the eloquently named "Operation Thunderbolt". The animation displayed two such agents "containing" SCP-3780 by preserving the timeline.
But eventually, they run into evidence that the SCP Foundation itself is also trying to undermine Operation Thunderbolt, by seeing that one of the people trying to break SCP-3780 is an SCP agent (represented by the identical Spy). In their confusion, another SCP agent from another timeline shows up, where in his timeline JFK was never killed.
The two SCP Foundation representatives argue, and it eventually spirals out of control until one of the agents explicitly asks them what the original purpose of SCP-3780 was. He comes to the conclusion that he was tasked with containing SCP-3780 not for any practical reason or anomalous purpose. Instead, he was merely caught up in a bunch of SCP Foundation higherups trying to show themselves that their timeline is the dominant one, by putting effort into making sure JFK is killed or stays alive.
Frustrated that his life's work was pointless, he kills everyone involved in the decision and leaves for another time, this time returning to the junior agent's first mission. They decide that they couldn't care less about whether JFK's death is prevented or not, and decide to do nothing as their past selves stop the JFK assassination.
Trivia: - As aforementioned, this is my second favorite SCP, after SCP-2639. And no, it's highly unlikely I'll ever animate that one.
- A 3 minute video that spiraled into 5. Again. You're noticing a trend here with my SCP SFMs, aren't you?
- There are many subtle references to my other TF2 and SCP videos. See if you can find any. And as usual, no hints.
- Time spent: 314 hours.
That is all. See you all soon.
#animation #sfm #scp #tf2Can Twitch Chat Kill A Man? (In TF2)A Dummie2021-10-22 | With the use of some Python code, Dummie was able to get Twitch to control a game of TF2. Would Twitch be able to kill a man in TF2, or will they crash and burn like the failures they were destined to be?
What other games should Twitch chat try to conquer next? No seriously, Dummie needs suggestions for the next "Twitch controls" video. Type them in the comments. I need views.
Trivia: - The similarities with DougDoug, the GTA V guy, should be obvious.
- I learned how to do this after an internship with a tech company, as well as extensive googling.
- Expect me to do more with this software. What other games would you like to watch?

An animation practice for animating chatting and lighting in Source Filmmaker. Not exactly the longest piece I've made but I figured I'd post this anyways. Maybe the GTA community will like this, maybe the GTA lads won't. Either way, next SFM will be SCP-3780. TF2 SFM will come later this year.
For the algorithm's sake I have to post the quote. "YOU DISINGENUOUS DENSE MOTHERFUCKER, OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE TO KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT SOMETHING OR YOU COULDN'T TIE YOUR SHOES!". Are you happy now, Youtube?
If you liked it, rate it on Steam. I don't know how it could possibly help, just that it does.[SFM] If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 5A Dummie2021-08-22 | This took way too fucking long. I am tired. But satisfied.
Have you ever wondered what TF2 would be like if it was mixed with other games? No? Well, fuck you, because I did it anyway.
Welcome back, for the 5th and final time, to my annual Source Filmmaker animation series, "If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games". Because all good things (if this TF2 SFM can be considered a good thing for TF2) must come to an end.
Featuring an increasingly incomprehensible comedy style, other games that have no right to be with TF2, no Russians, and TF2 animation that looks ludicrous to the sane mind! The flexibility of TF2 allows me to torment the TF2 mercs in increasingly torturous ways with the power of Source Filmmaker!
If you liked it, rate it on Steam. I don't know how it could possibly help, just that it does. [INSERT LINK HERE]
Q&A about that last part: Q: Are you no longer animating SFM animations? A: No. I've got more things I wanna animate.
Q: Are you no longer animating TF2 SFM animations? A: No. The TF2 merc models are the best in SFM and I'm not abandoning TF2 anytime soon.
Q: Are you no longer doing TF2 stuff? A: No. See above. "TF2 Comedy" is still a good place to hang out in.
Q: Are you no longer animating If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games? A: Yes. I've got plenty more mid-tier ideas but what's in this video are the last of my best (in terms of comedy) ideas to use.
Q: Does that mean there won't be a "If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 6"? A: Yes. If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 5 is the last in the main series.
Q: What do you mean by "main series"? A: Maybe I'll do an SFM/Gmod collab with the Mixing series in 2022.
Q: Wait, you said one day you will depart from the spotlight, what does that mean? A: It means I am very certain on never animating SFMs (TF2 or otherwise) full time.
Q: Wait, you've been animating stuff at this frequency without going full-time? A: Yeah. I have a life outside of SFM and TF2.
Q: So, when are you leaving? A: Summer of 2024, most likely. Source Filmmaker is a sidequest for me.
Trivia: - 455 hours down the fucking drain. Least I enjoyed animating it most of the time.
- I was gonna get Kevan Brighting (narrator of the Stanley Parable) to voice the narrator. Unfortunately, due to The Stanley Parable remaster, he wasn't available.
- I got Lichtenstein to do a part in an extra "CS:GO" part as a callback to the running gag from the first 3. Unfortunately, he got sick and couldn't voice his lines.
- I was gonna get the Battlefield Friends to voice some of the characters in the Battlefield part. Unfortunately, they never got back to me.
- I gave myself the deadline "25th August" as I was expecting something terrible to happen in June and July. Nothing bad happened; quite the contrary, actually. However, this good thing meant I had far less time for TF2 and animation. My first target was the 11th of July, 2021, btw.
- This video features the first mass deployment of "Gmod posters" in the background. May god have mercy on our souls.
- The Stanley Parable part, as some of you might have noticed, bears a bit too much resemblance to Harry101UK's "Meet The Cores 2".
- This was the first time I noticed Superhot (the first one) didn't have a soundtrack at all.
- The Hitman part was originally going to have a woman order RED Spy to kill Gray Mann, so people would know what was going on. However, it didn't fit anywhere in the video and I had to scrap it. Sorry Fluff.
- The ARMA part could honestly be swapped with Squad. Or Insurgency. Or Tarkov.
- Source Filmmaker REALLY hates rendering water. The Source Engine (and TF2) doesn't, however. I don't know why.
- I honestly have no idea how I could top the Battlefield part. Especially since I had been planning this shot from mid-2020.
So, I suppose that's it. Farewell, good night, and good luck.[SFM] Dr. Bright Goes To Federal PrisonA Dummie2021-05-11 | -I NEED NEW CHILDREN, D-CLASS CONNOR REPRESENTED BY THE TF2 SCOUT FROM THE SCP ANIMATED SERIES "CONFINEMENT". FEED ME NEW CHILDREN. - Dr. Bright
An SCP animation based on a joke I saw back in May 2020 when there was an influx of information regarding SCP authors (one of them being Dr. Bright) acting inappropriately towards minors. This SFM idea about Dr. Bright going to federal prison has been sitting in my SFM idea booklet since and I hope I did it justice.
Ok, this one's just a stopgap SCP SFM that I was supposed to make in a few hours (but ended up overrunning, SFM is pleased) bc I thought the Dr. Bright meme was funny. This should count as an SCP SFM. Or at the very least a TF2 SFM. Or just an SFM. Idk. Next one's going to be a proper animation, I swear.
Based on the countless stories I've heard about Dr. Bright and younger writers on the SCP Foundation. As well as a since-deleted legendary SCP tale written by Bright about becoming a 13 year old girl and some explicit stuff that would get Dummie shot down if I typed it. Among the things Dr. Bright is not allowed to do at the Foundation should probably include children.
Trivia: - As aforementioned, this is based on the piles of screenshots that I came across regarding the Foundation. Given that any direct action against these SCP authors has led to nothing at best and destruction at worst, I'm hoping me taking the piss out of SCP won't turn out horribly on me.
- I figured out how to do the Gmod poster thing in my backgrounds. May god have mercy on your souls.
- Alright, **next one** is going to be If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 5. Coming out 25th August.[SFM] Oh No, You Beat Me In A Pokemon Battle!A Dummie2021-04-19 | "Oh no, you beat me in a Pokemon Battle!"
Every year, thousands of TF2 players lose out on well-earned hats won in Pokemon battles against protagonists. This message is brought to you through this SFM in TF2 by the Pokemon Encounter Normality & Integrity Society.
A TF2 SFM animation involving Pokemon, commissioned by the Pokemon Encounter Normality & Integrity Society, featuring Soldier from Team Fortress 2 and Dawn from, y'know, fucking Pokemon.
Ok seriously, this one's just a stopgap TF2 SFM (after my last SFM on 2786) that I made in a few hours bc I thought it was funny. This counts as a TF2 SFM, right? No? Well fuck you, I'm counting it as a TF2 SFM anyways.
Trivia: - The Dawn SFM model is impossible to use. Thank god the TF2 Soldier is easy to animate.
- Despite the 2D animation by Wolt, I still hope you found something new with this take on these lines.
- Ok, next one's actually If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 5, coming August 25th. My options for what I would animate were between either a standard TF2 animation or an SCP animation.
Time spent in Source Filmmaker: 10 hours (yes, only 10 hours, what a fucking miracle)[SFM] SCP-2786 | The ArchetypeA Dummie2021-04-03 | "So, what... are you?" "I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems."
The Archetype. SCP designation 2786. An animated TF2 character, or not. What is he? Where did he come from? Where did he go? Where did you come from, Cotton-Eyed Joe?
Another attempt at an SCP SFM with TF2 characters, this time featuring SCP-2786. Because despite my reservations on the SCP Foundation as a whole, there are still many pieces of excellent work and 2786 is one worth turning into an SCP animation.
SCP-2786, the Archetype, is the designation for a metaphysical entity narrative-based bipedal humanoid resembling a Caucasian male approximately 50 years of age of Texan origin. SCP-2786 will be idiosyncratically perceived by any being that interacts with it, varying in traits from interaction to interaction.
SCP-2786 dons a hardhat with a mining light, goggles (which emit orange lights at times), a wrist-mounted computer, and red/blue overalls. SCP-2786 often employs two Walther PPK pistols for combat, but has also been seen with other weaponry. SCP-2786 refers to itself as "the Engineer", or "Engie" for short.
Oh and one more thing. This shit ain't canon. So don't get on my ass again like it was for SCP-662. Because of the TF2 characters I had, the Engineer was the best one. Is this a TF2 SFM or SCP SFM? Idk. Probably both.
Trivia: - I had no idea what the hell I was originally going to do for my next SCP animation until Jack5 suggested SCP-2786. It fit really well into an ongoing series anyways (a character that goes around different media, killing people and shit like that) so I did it.
- This video was originally going to be 3 fucking minutes. It is now 8. Help me.
- Thanks to me making the D-Class models, I now know how to manipulate textures and posters. God help us all.
- My favorite anomalies on the Foundation are still 2639, 3780, 4856, 093, 1861, and 3021. But 2786 is quite close.
- There were originally going to be more TF2 characters as D-Class. Unfortunately, I got too lazy and didn't get around to it.
- The SCP researchers are hard as hell to animate.
- The codeword is yeet. 10 fan points and the right to say that you read this properly. Somehow.
- I did not expect my last SCP video, 662 | Butler's Bell, to do that well. Then again, channel's been stagnant for a year and I'm concerned that Youtube now thinks I'm an SCP animator instead of a TF2 animator.
- I will test another SCP animation, involving Dr. Bright going to federal prison for his crimes against minors. Let's see how it goes.
- I had written about Engie in another anomaly, RPC-750, back in 2019. I had no idea that 2786 would fit it more.
- This is not canon. At all.
- Total time spent, 310 hours in Source Filmmaker. A few more editing. SFM spent 6 days rendering this.
Well, that's it from me. See you in August for If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 5, my last Mixing.
#scp #tf2 #sfm[SFM] Spy Among UsA Dummie2021-01-29 | There is a Spy Among Us, and the mercs from TF2 will have to figure out who it is in this SFM animation before they all get backstabbed by the impostor. Either that or they start killing each other for no good reason. Probably the latter in my Among Us experience.
Among Us is a good game, mates. And so is TF2. So watch this SFM. It's solid, it's simple, and it's really, really fun to slowly pick off your crewmates as they discover body after body, holding emergency meeting after emergency meeting, just to try and vent you out.
Besides, it's made by an indie team of Newgrounds vets. What's not to love? I hope you enjoy this SFM animation (my one Among Us animation, and only Among Us animation) just as much as I enjoyed Among Us.
This is also technically part of the "If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games" series. So there.
Something something Red Spy sus. End me, please, Source Filmmaker is a dick.
If you liked it, rate it on Steam. I don't know how it could possibly help, just that it does.
Trivia: - With the massive failures that were my last 2 TF2 videos, I need some confidence in TF2 viewership. Figured making a "backburner" type video with 2 games that I really like and are popular would help. Let's see how this goes because man do I need the numbers to justify my financial expenses for If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 5.
- I had decided to either run Among Us or Henry Stickmin, both made by Puffballs United. At the end, I decided Among Us would be better since Henry Stickmin was already featured in my "If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Flash Games" collab.
- I will likely integrate this video into "If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 5".
- This SFM existence was very unlikely. I really hope it's worth it.
- Hoovy Tube stepped in at the last second and suggested some fixes, including the ending. I think what Hoovy did was better.
- I did not use any 15.ai in this video because this was made before 15.ai had TF2 characters.
- This took 30 hours. Much more efficient than my usual. I intend to keep it that way, especially with the decline of my TF2 SFMs. "How To Time Travel" and "Not Another Christmas Song" had 200 hours put to them and the viewership was crushing. Far lower than my videos uploaded in 2019 such as Medic's School For Medics and The Death of Hitler.
Good luck, good hunting, and goodbye. SCP-2786 is next.
#tf2 #amongus #animation[SFM] Not Another Christmas SongA Dummie2020-12-22 | "Why can't we get divorced for Christmas?" -TF2 Medic, Christmas Day
Unlike the cheery, well-spirited joytoys of the others, I bring you not another Christmas SFM.
The original, "Not Another Christmas Song", is here. youtube.com/watch?v=e41G840liu8 I don't mean to claim the song as my own work, don't mean to profit off it, I'm not directly linked to blink-182, this is a fan work, yada yada yada.
Inspired by the Starbucks at my old uni, which started doing purge promotions on the 3rd of November. And the Brits, who put up their decorations in early November. Because my god am I fed up with that version of Christmas. Figured a TF2 SFM (Christmas SFM) would be the best way for me to poke fun at this.
Please don't fucking demonetize my channel, Youtube. Or delete it. It's just an SFM animation. I put too many hours into SFM.
Trivia: -This was made at the same time as If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Flash Games and Dummie is 20 because a Christmas SFM has to be released by Christmas. My work planning barely held on.
-You have no idea how fucking hard it is to animate shooting without sounds.
-The more festivities I see, the more I wanted to do this.
-Apparently, "What's My Age Again" (also from blink-182) is my most listened song of 2019.
-It was originally going to feature Demoman alongside Sniper and Medic. I figured at the end that the effort wasn't worth it.
-This took 200 hours, 80 of which was rendering. I have no idea how; an SFM animation this length should take me under 150 hours.
See you in April.[Q&A Thing] Dummie is 20A Dummie2020-12-19 | There are many people who doubt the theological concept of hell. Let this channel be proof that no fewer than one such hell exists, and that, if the true theological hell is a thing, we probably all belong there.
I grow closer to my death by turning 20 today, and to mourn this I’m making this video.[SFM/Gmod Collab] If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Flash GamesA Dummie2020-12-16 | 27/12/20 Update: This video should not be doing as well as it currently is.
Around 3 years ago, support for Flash was planned to be shut down in December of 2020. Software preparations were planned, replacements for Flash were programmed, and announcements were made. The world moves on from a relic - a piece of software older than many of its users.
But before we move on, 15 animators have decided that this relic means enough to each of us. Enough to create a Gmod or SFM animation in tribute to the Flash games which kept us entertained.
As the internet continues to grow, it will not be long until Flash be forgotten among the tides of newer, more ad-friendly works.
A toast to Flash. May we never forget what it stands for, whatever that may be.

Releases 16th December, 2020. Watch here: [COMING SOON!][SFM] The Time Travelers HandbookA Dummie2020-11-12 | "You’re not drunk enough for time travel. This is why you could use a skilled mentor to guide you, but instead, you have me."
How to time travel; more of an art and less of a science. And presented in an easily digestible time travel SFM featuring our TF2 characters, alongside other time travel animations. Let's see how this goes as the first animated iteration of The Time Traveler's Handbook.
Hopefully, the gods will have been appeased by the censors. TF2 SFMs have never been taken out like this so I'm concerned about what this means for further animations. Action and comedy could fall apart for this.
RPC-916 is a book of varying size, language, and colour, titled "The Time Traveler's Handbook - The Definitive Guide to Not Fucking It Up" in whichever language RPC-916 is composed of. RPC-916 displays no special resistance to age-related wear and use or physical damage, and possesses no anomalous properties individually.
All RPC-916 instances are written in a casual tone through relatively simple words with the subject's native language and do not utilize technical terms. RPC-916 also frequently diverges from the topic of temporal displacement, with certain instances possessing less than 10% useful information. The topics of which RPC-916 instances diverge into varies with each instance.
My trust in the SCP Foundation's staff dwindles by the minute and I suppose the RPC Authority is my coping mechanism. Somehow more sane than the Foundation despite the rumors. And as a result, I stayed around and wrote RPC-916. Heavily inspired by SCP-3780 so thanks, Random Day.
- This was manually claimed for being inappropriate for children. I don't know why.
- The Time Traveler's Handbook was an idea I had since March 2018. I wrote it down in my booklet, then wrote it on the SCP Foundation, then wrote it on the RPC Authority in December 2018. And now, in November 2020, here's the animated part of it.
- I had initially envisioned Aurelia to speak with a more "Italian" accent. Unfortunately, I don't know any Italian women willing to VA, and Coupon's a Canadian.
- I had hoped that this project would be more comedic than my other stuff. Idk.
- I decided to swing by the Authority in July 2018. They seemed welcoming, more so than the Foundation. So I stayed.
- 207 hours spent in SFM.
So long, farewell, and goodbye for now. See you this Christmas.

- There was going to be a Spongebob timecard between XCOM. Couldn't make it work properly as well.
- Since documenting my SFM usage since June of 2019, this is the densest SFM usage of mine. Made possible due to a contemporary global predicament.
- The War Thunder sketch was originally written for If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 3. It got too long and I moved it here.
- This is my first time using DaVinci Resolve's non-coloring features. Green screen tracking is hard, man.

Good luck![SFM] SCP-662 | Butlers BellA Dummie2020-05-05 | "I am Mr. Deeds. How can I help?"
Treat your butlers well, people. Or they'll fuck your shit up.
My first attempt into non-TF2 territory. I hope you enjoy it nonetheless and if you're new, welcome.
Of course, I'm still using TF2 resources. Maybe someday I'll move away from them for things like these. Maybe not. Fuck if I know.
Trivia: - The original plan was to animate SCP-2639. Due to complications, that got called off. The next two on my plate were SCP-4856 and SCP-3333 which were too called off due to technical complications. SCP-662 was my 4th option.
- The original plan was to have the Spy as Mr. Deeds. Unfortunately, I could not locate a model of an unmasked Spy in black. As a result, I chose to use a suited Scout.
- In the original, Mr. Deeds was British. I changed it to "American" to accommodate the Scout. This resulted in me asking Eastside Steve for help.
- The codeword is yeet.
- I had previously (indirectly) worked with Eastside Steve, where he voiced my Time Traveler's Handbook (RPC-916). This is largely why I decided to sort his assistance in the matter.
- My favorite anomalies on the Foundation are 2639, 4856, 093, 1861, and 3021.
- I had written two articles for the Foundation a while ago, 3689 and 3378. Both were not of adequate quality at the time and are subsequently no longer up there, but you can still find rewritten (and hopefully improved) versions of them here. http://www.rpc-wiki.net/rpc-689 http://www.rpc-wiki.net/rpc-378
- This would have made for a decent tale.
Well, that's it from me. Mixing 4 is coming this July, like clockwork.[SFM/Gmod Collab] Engies Escape AdventuresA Dummie2020-04-20 | Around 14 months ago you watched in awe as Engie, an extraordinarily skilled BLU Engineer, assumed the role of a hitman and took on 8 missions. Unfortunately for him the job was a trap, and a special kind of purgatory reared its ugly head. Join Engie once again as he fights his way through more than 20 locations in this collab of epic proportions.
This is one of the most ambitious projects I've ever been involved with, as well as the longest video on my channel (which is likely to hold that title for the foreseeable future). It has been quite an entertaining experience for the last 8 months (or 20 months if we're including Engie's Hitman Adventures) to work on this, and me and Jack5 are both really happy with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it.

The charm of the mercs, the fanatically patriotic American Soldier being one of them, drew us into this crazy-ass game. One of the people who made these shorts possible was Rick May, the voice actor of the Soldier.
Through thousands of hours of this game, we have killed and been killed by hundreds of thousands of soldiers, yelling iconic voice lines such as “if god had wanted you to live, he would not have created me!”, as well as “maggots”. Without lines such as these, made possible by Rick May, TF2 would not be nearly as charismatic as it is.
The level of insanity Soldier displays extends to Garry’s Mod and Source Filmmaker. Soldier’s lunacy and patriotism within the Meet The Team shorts and in-game translates well into fan-made shorts. Soldier often plays roles either associated with absurdity or patriotism. Rick May’s efforts into making Soldier as bombastic as he is was certainly not lost on us.
Soldier is also kind of an inspiration. Without the paralyzing performances of Rick May as Soldier, as well as the work of the remaining voice actors in SourceFilmmaker shorts, many SourceFilmmaker animators would probably not be inspired, myself included. To inspire someone else is an admirable task. To inspire thousands? No words can describe it.
A day ago, on the 13th of April, 2020, Rick May, the voice actor for Soldier, passed away.
Life laughs at you when you are unhappy. Life smiles at you when you are happy. Life salutes you when you make others happy.
As aforementioned. On 15/04/2020, I organized a memorial for Rick May. It went as well as you expected.
Thanks to Jack5 and Rushy Servers for being able to assist with such short notice.

Based off my personal experience taking the HKDSEs in 2018. I performed to an acceptable level of shit in every subject except for Chinese (and maybe Maths, but that's my own fault). Another SFM that's been in the vault since 2018.
An explanation: HKDSE level Chinese is taught in four different ways. There's "Reading", which means "analyse this article in a convoluted way", "Writing" which means "get high and bullshit a lot", "Listening" which means "write a lot more than the writing exams", and "Speaking" which for once actually means "debating" (this one is actually somewhat useful).
Unfortunately, since pretty much the "early days", information regarding how to consistently do well in "Reading", "Writing" and "Speaking" was either actively contradictory or woefully under-elaborated.
For example, for "Reading", I was told that the articles all had a "format", and so did the answers. A few weeks later, someone else would tell me that the articles were random in nature, and the answers would either have to be in a different format or lack formats altogether. This is not an isolated incident.
This is in stark contrast to the subjects "Liberal Studies" and "History". While to an extent similar in nature, these subjects lack major inconsistencies (or at least, not to the extent exhibited by Chinese) in how we are expected to tackle them. The instructions were clear, or at least failing that, not mutually exclusive in any way.
So, my conclusion is this. To the people who work within or out of the Hong Kong drugging system, who I am sure are very competent people in their own rights as educators of different types: Can you guys please get a consensus on what the fuck we're supposed to do before we are sent to our deaths? Thank you.

Yeah, Hitler is [REDACTED]. Thanks, bot. The Death of [REDACTED] sounds like a bad SFM for an anomaly. Speaking of, I might some SFMs for anomalies in the future. SCP-2639 and RPC-666 are on my list.
By the way, pretend that this is "If TF2 Was Mixed With Hearts of Iron 4". I've been spending too much time on HoI4.
Hitler's Loadout: The Dictator Crusher's Cap Shit-Eating Grin
Trivia: This video's origins. It was originally intended to feature a group of Engineers failing to stop a zombie apocalypse. Unfortunately, we've had too many zombie-related SFMs, no thanks to the FnaF community's massive contributions to the SFM community, that being nil. As a result, I switched to WWII.
This is my first entry into non-TF2 territory, I suppose. Well, not really. It's still TF2 models, and Hitler is merely the Medic.
The original script was written in February of 2018. It was going to be for the 2018 Saxxies, but that somehow hasn't happened yet. I don't know why. Fucking hell, Valve.
My first attempt with color correction. I use DaVinci Resolve 16 as my editor, and it's a color corrector at it's core. So why not? How well do you think I did?
That's all I have for now. Next one's going to be the collab.

No, this channel isn't going to become some kind of bulwark against China. Expect "normal" SFM animations in the future, I suppose. Sorry for the unorthodox formatting. This is a deviation from my usual "lighthearted" tone and I intend to attract a different audience with this.
By the way, there's a poll at the end where you get to vote which charity the ad money from this video goes to. I'll donate as soon as I figure out how. The charities: facebook.com/sparkalliancehk (For the livehoods of protesters) facebook.com/612Fund/(For legal fees)

And since so many of you want to know what "Like Tears In Gas" means, holy shit haven't you ever watched Blade Runner?
------
Given that this video exists, I think that it is safe to assume that I have my opinions on the Hong Kong Police Force. I won’t waste our time listing the actions taken by the HKPF that I consider excessive here since they commit something new every week. I will, instead point out that our current predicament is both a recent predicament, and not a recent predicament. Allow me to elaborate.
This is a recent predicament. In 1989, there was a protest involving 1,000,000 people, as a display of solidarity (thanks to Von Pincier for teaching me that word). In that protest. The HKPF (then the Royal Hong Kong Police Force) did not stop the protesters. In 2003, there was another protest involving 500,000 people against a proposed legislation commonly used by the PRC to take legal action against dissidents. In that protest. The HKPF also did not stop the protesters. Even in 2011, during my first protest, the HKPF did not stop us from voicing our opinions. When compared to the average political phenomenon, the HKPF’s disproportionate response to anti-government protests is a recent situation.
This is also not a recent predicament. In 2014, the HKPF used tear gas against protesters armed with umbrellas. Given that tear gas is used against molotovs thrown by advancing protesters in the civilized world, this was relatively surprising. Even in 2011, there was an incident where a protester was forcefully removed from the presence from the PRC’s vice-premier and a policeman covered up cameras from the press. It seems that many people abroad, when offering solidarity, are under the impression that the HKPF has only “recently” been settling opposition with relatively excessive force. This is simply not true.
Regardless of whether the current predicament is a recent one, the core factors responsible for this situation are relatively obvious. The politicization of the HKPF is, to a large extent, a major factor responsible for the disproportionate force used by the HKPF against protests in recent years.
The HKPF have consistently been used in recent years as a method of dealing with political dissident. As the HK government lacks adequate representation, it is quite possible for the HK government (especially given that the HK government has a stronger executive branch) to make unpopular decisions, a power that the HK government frequently uses. This is largely responsible for the buildup of opposition towards the HK government. Unfortunately, the people of HK also have no way of making such opposition manifest with any political significance, largely due to the lack of representation in the government. Without any effective methods of opposition within the system, it is not surprising that many within Hong Kong use protests or other methods of civil disobedience as a tool of expressing opposition.
However, the HK government seems to be increasing it’s use of the HKPF as a method of shutting down political opposition. This was demonstrated most recently during the Occupy Central movement in 2014, where the leading political figures at the time (one of whom was Mrs. Carrie Lam, the current Chief Executive) failed to respond to the demands of the protesters and went the direction of suppression. These successes seem to have encouraged the HK government into taking a more hardline stance against opposition, thus resulting in the disproportionate forced used by the HKPF.
Sadly, without solving the underlying political issue, the HKPF will be left with the world’s most depressing game of whack-a-mole. With opposition from the people of Hong Kong at an all time high, it is likely that future opposition movements will continue to receive reasonable support, thus ensuring that opposition movements will continue despite the HKPF’s attempts of suppression. There is a reason why the 5th demand is “universal suffrage”, for the people of Hong Kong will need that to make sure that the HKPF are not needed to solve political issues, thus making sure that the disproportionate level of force used by the HKPF never happens again.[SFM/Gmod Collab] ANNOUNCEMENT: Engies Escape AdventuresA Dummie2019-08-06 | So, new collab. Holy fuck, thanks a lot.
This took way too fucking long so let's get it over with.
Have you ever wondered what TF2 would be like if it was mixed with other games? No? Well, fuck you, because I did it anyway.
The "long awaited" third SFM to the "If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games" series is finally here! Featuring many long awaited games and whatever! Hopefully featuring better animation, more crossovers, and fewer Russians!
Also, this short film has no chance of self-censoring for the Chinese Communist Party, which cannot be said of Ubisoft!
Trivia: There was going to be an intermission where I explained why this thing took so long. I called it off due to a lack of time.
I was supposed to have this done by the 3rd of July. And here we are, on the 30th of July.
There was going to be a "dogfight" component for the War Thunder sketch. This was removed as War Thunder was already 2 minutes long and adding dogfights would probably turn 2 minutes into 5.
I was going to make a Fortnite joke by stealing Hoovy Tube's "FORTNITE VS. TF2". Then I watched If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 2 and realized that I made that joke already.
The inclusion of "Waltzing Matilda" was from me frequenting an Australian zombie survival server, as well as Rimmy - Downundergaming's Civilization 6 videos where Rimmy plays as John Curtain.
I was going to download Kerbal Space Program and get myself to the Mun for the screenshots. I failed. I am a terrible Physics student.
I think I'll be using Battlefield to say "hey, this SFM's about to be over" without directly saying it in the future.
I intend to make 2 more of these.
I was going to end the CS:GO component with me saying "Let's never ever do that again. Ever.". Again, my lack of time terminated it.
I have listened to Eastside Steve's reading of RPC-916 at least 10 times while making this video. Yes, I wrote RPC-916.
60 fan points, m8.
I suppose that's all I have to say for now. Next one's going to be a little political. Don't worry, I'm from Hong Kong, I'm not going to do "ORANGE MAN GOOD/ORANGE MAN BAD". I have much bigger fish to fry.
So long, farewell, and goodbye.[SFM] Heavy Kills EngineerA Dummie2019-06-01 | The Hitman Engie is placed into harms way in this Source Filmmaker animation as a Mafia Heavy desperately tries to assassinate him. Will he survive, or will he be struck down like my hopes and dreams were?
Yeah I'm here. "If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Games 3" is next.
TL;DW: If you do something, it's generally desirable to do it properly. Doing a generally less-than-optimal job is more likely going to result in disapproval. And shifting the blame to your employers may also be an unfavourable course of action. I may or may not have been spending time on Twitter. And I mar or may not be inspired by a tweet I saw back in 2017 which concerned me so much, I decided to animate an entire goddamned video as a rebuttal.
Of course, I'm not that petty. I hope the message I was trying to get through in this SFM works. Failing that, I hope that you enjoyed it as a comedic piece of quality animation. Well, "quality animation".
01/03/21 Update: For the last fucking time, Heavy Kills Engineer is not inspired by Heavy Is Dead. Look at the release dates m8.
Trivia: This SFM animation was supposed to be a minute long, and only have the explosion. Fuck.
I'd name it properly, but those versions got demonetized.

Door Monster is amazing. I don't know how to say it, Door Monster is amazing.
They're funny, they're ridiculous, they're quite charming. They also run a website as a YouTube competitor, which is certainly worth checking out.
Honestly, they're everything you'd want in a sketch channel. If any of you are reading this (unlikely but still worth a shot), you guys are fucking amazing.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it. And now this objective of my favourite sidequest has been achieved, I'm going to study.
- I don't know where I was going with the skit at the end.
- This project took approximately 130 hours.
- 30 fan points to those who got here.[SFM/Gmod Collab] Engies Hitman AdventuresA Dummie2019-02-03 | Welcome to this long overdue Collab about Engie's Hitman Adventures! This took 7 months and way too much time and effort. I'm so tired from this, I'm not even going to finish this description.
This is my first SFM/Gmod Collab, go easy on me lol. I have more experience dealing with SFM animations, so messing with Gmod animations and the Gmod community has been quite eye-opening for me.
