The arcade classic comes to the Amiga, and was an American exclusive as well! The Amiga was the first of a number of late 80's upgrades of Qix to the home market. We'll read from the manual, show off some reviews from when the game was new, discuss strategies, and dive into some memories! Shown on actual Amiga hardware in its designed NTSC mode via a 4:3 CRT monitor.

My written review for Qix: shot97retro.blogspot.com/2021/07/qix-in-depth-written-amiga-review-with.html

*Corrections; I noted early ports on the Atari 5200 and Atari 8-bit computer lines, there was also a Commodore 64 port at this time, another port for the C64 came out later which I did mention. - I never discussed the on-screen acronyms CLM and THR, but with a funny clip I left in made it sound like CLM meant calm, referring to how the qix is acting. I believe it means claim, as in how much of the screen has been claimed, while THR is threshold, how much you need to claim to get through the level.
