While this discussion is focused on a particular advantage of QD OLED, that does not mean other technologies are "not good". WRGB OLED has its own advantages as well, and the G2 was a fantastic TV, as will the G3 most likely be. This discussion was purely about brightness and why nit measurements in window patterns are pointless in describing if one TV is brighter than another. In real content, QD OLED has a brightness advantage that likely won't change until LG Display has a new hardware level panel change.
