First Quarter Shop Update! Once again I’ve been gone for work most of this first quarter. It’s hard to believe that the first quarter is already over!

Viewer Questions .
• Got asked when the new lathe is going to be in.
o It hasn’t been ordered yet.. Hoping to soon. Sometimes life just gets in the way but, I’ll get there.
• Got asked how the Fiddes is holding up on the forever bench?
o I reached out to Jeff and he’s told me that the finish on the bench is holding up well! He did mention that he got a little damage to the top around one of the dog holes but, that it was easy enough to repair.
• Got asked for the actual dimensions on the panel sled and if there will be plans?
o I used Sketchup to make a drawing with dimensions and posted it on the screen at (Add the video location)
• It was suggested that I simply didn’t tighten up the knobs enough on the Jessem Roller Guide.

• Got asked for dimensions on the Festool Rail Racks..
o I used Sketchup to make a drawing with dimensions and posted it on the screen at 4:23
• Got asked about the flatness on the jointer bed.
o If there’s any inconsistencies in the bed, they’ve never caused me any issues.
Coming Up:
• There’s a few projects being designed right now..
o Bedroom Furniture – I still have one more spare room to build furniture for. The designs are complete and posted in the member only section of the forums complete with bid sheets. I’ll make these public when I release the videos but, if you want early access to the information, join the forums and go have a look!
o Metal Cabinet – Just trying to get the finishes into a metal cabinet and open up some room to store other stuff close to my work station.
o I’m considering adding a tool tray to the back of the Roubo. It would be set back enough to still allow clamps under that side of the bench. Just a small tray to hold some items when I have the bench rolled out and not near the hand tool corner.
o I’m considering a major change to our dining room area with a bench seat and additional storage.
o I still have one end table to design and build for our living room.
