1st Quarter Shop Update! A really crazy work schedule has made me rethink some of the larger projects this year! 2 long jobs with about a month in between doesn’t leave me a lot of time to capture enough content to maintain the video release schedule. So, I’ll be doing a series of smaller projects and will get to the larger ones when the work schedule lightens up.

Viewer Questions
• Got asked for an up close picture of the results from the Rikon HCM.. Here you go.. Still had the ¼” set up in it from the cradle.
• Got a question asking why I didn’t use the HCM instead of the router on the mortises in the changing table. Easy answer is no reason at all. Either would have worked awesomely! In hindsight, the HCM probably would have worked better as I wouldn’t have had to round over the tenons. I will try and incorporate this in more future videos
• Follow up with the actual measurement on my MG-36.. Follow up video gauge was 32 thousandths.. Mine is 21 thousandths. For the record, I still think this is a top notch miter gauge. I also think that Harvey has some issues to work out with their QC and their customer service. I personally haven’t had any issues with either of these items but have seen many negative social media posts regarding these 2 items.
• Thanks for all the kind words around the cradle and our first grandchild! This was a fun build for sure and we’re looking forward to seeing it in use!
• Got asked to show the alternate top for the Changing Table / Dresser – Fact is that I haven’t made it yet. The pile of 6/4 is still sitting in the rack though waiting for me to find the time to do it. Is there any interest in this being a stand-a-lone video?
• Got a request to see my wife’s quilting room. I’ve got a quilting rack video planned this year so, will show her room in that video. I’ve actually done quite a few videos for the furniture in that room where you can see it but, I’ll do a full tour of her quilting room when I build the quilting rack.

• Instagram – Because I work on the road, I often build projects and bank them for when I’m gone so that I have content to release. Many of these projects can be seen on Instagram long before the videos are released. Also, there’s many projects that don’t get filmed that I show on Instagram.
• YouTube – Busy first quarter of 2022 for my “day job”. I was fortunate to have enough material banked to maintain the release schedule. The next job will see me gone for several months again so, there may be a hiatus video in the future but, I’m working hard in the shop to ensure that doesn’t happen.
• Forum Site – It’s all about the members – Members are typically involved in conversations around my builds and their input is always appreciated!
