An Italian Senator submitted a bill that proposed teaching children about wine since it’s such a huge part of Italian culture. A similar initiative already exists in Brescia, Northern Italy so the precedence exists. The hope is that children will not only gain an education about this staple of Italian life, but it could help prevent young people from abusing alcohol.

Do you think it’s important for Italian children to know about the history of winemaking in the country? What age do you think it should start? What is the legal drinking age where you live? What is your favorite type of wine?

Rainbow Grilled Cheese = The Latest Thing to Break Instagram - Food Feeder youtube.com/watch?v=NyB_pV6gHDYA Restaurant for Cereal?!?!? - Food FeederTasted2016-07-15 | Want cereal? Kellogg’s is getting people to pay a premium to eat it at a restaurant. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Z7lbS
If you’ve ever wanted to pay $6.50 for a bowl of cereal, you’re in luck! Kellogg’s, yes the company that makes Corn Flakes and Pop-Tarts, has opened a cereal cafe in New York City. Now all the hipsters can gather and eat overpriced cereal with overpriced toppings while they type poems on a typewriter, or whatever it is hipsters do.
The menu will change every 3 months, and bowls start at $6.50 for the specialties and $3.50 for a small bowl of plain cereal with add-ons for $1.50 each. So if getting cereal out of your pantry and pouring in milk from your fridge is too hard for you, now you can walk to Times Square and have somebody do it for you, of course that means you have to get up off your lazy butt and walk…
What is your favorite cereal? How much would you pay for a bowl of cereal? Have you been to Kellogg’s cereal cafe? What did you think? Was it worth the price?

A new tax has been passed in Philadelphia, PA that will effect sugary drinks like soda, sports drinks, juice cocktails, amongst others. They are the first city in the US to approve a tax like this, but it’s all done in the name of protecting the children. Childhood obesity is a huge problem all over the country, so the idea is that adding to the cost of things like soda they will become less appealing to people seeking a refreshing drink and perhaps they will choose milk, or actual juice, or even a glass of water instead. The tax won’t go into effect until January of 2017 so there is still plenty of time for it to falter, but if it is put in place they money generated will go to improving schools, parks, and other things that help kids.
Do you drink a lot of soda? What do you think about this tax? Do you think it will help to curb childhood obesity?

Your breakfast has a new name and it’s Joh. A. Benckiser aka JAB. This German company just bought the hot donut haven, Krispy Kreme. But you can’t have donuts without a nice cup of coffee which works out well because JAB already owns Keurig, Green Mountain, Peet’s Coffee, Stumptown Coffee, and Caribou Coffee, and while it has nothing to do with breakfast, they also have a stake in Jimmy Choo shoes. It doesn’t seem like they’re changing the products any of these companies make, and for now they don’t seem to be merging or getting rid of any, but it’s hard to know what their future plans are.
Are you a fan of Krispy Kreme? Have you tried their hot donuts? What’s your favorite type of donut? What do you think JAB will do with all these companies? Do you think we’ll see a Krispy Kreme Keurig coffee pod in the near future?

Deli Chocolate Slices?!?!?! - Food Feeder youtube.com/watch?v=SccfWWoKNt4A Shake Shack Burger with PORK RINDS ON IT?! - Food FeederTasted2016-06-01 | It’s like a heart attack waiting to happen, a burger topped with pork rinds, because Shake Shack knows what the “foodies” like! Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Z7lbS
If you live in Los Angeles at least one person you know got really excited recently because they opened a Shake Shack out here. You were probably couldn’t understand why they were so excited for some other random burger joint (maybe it’s the crinkle cut fries, or maybe it’s just that they feel superior for knowing about a restaurant that you don’t). Well if you enjoy food made from pigs then prepare to get excited because Shake Shack is releasing the Crackle which is their normal burger: an Angus beef patty, American Cheese, and Shake Shack sauce, all on a potato bun, but with pork rinds added. Who needs bacon when you’ve got crispy fried rinds of pork. Anybody know what part of the pig the rinds come from?
Have you tried the Crackle? What did you think? Are you a fan of Shake Shack? What’s your favorite thing on their menu? Are you a fan of pork rinds? What part of the pig does the rind come from?

Deli Chocolate Slices?!?!?! - Food Feeder youtube.com/watch?v=SccfWWoKNt4Healthy Hershey’s?!?!?! - Food FeederTasted2016-05-27 | If you love making chocolate milk with Hershey’s syrup get ready because they’re making it healthier… sort of. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Z7lbS
Most of us have probably never read the ingredients on the back of our Hershey’s Syrup, but if we did we’d see a lot of words that are hard to pronounce and very few ingredients we recognize. Now Hershey’s has introduced their Simply 5 Syrup which has, get this, 5 ingredients: cocoa, water, natural flavor from vanilla beans (whatever that means), cane sugar, and organic invert cane sugar (yes, those last 2 ingredients are both sugar). While it is still fattening, because it’s still chocolate syrup, it’s more natural so you’ll know what you’re putting in your body, or what you’re smearing all over your body, or whatever you do with your chocolate syrup (internet searches can be dangerous).

Well Starbucks wants to take the fun of s’mores away from you. That’s right folks, Starbucks is debuting the S’mores Bar, a graham crust topped with a layer of milk chocolate and piled with lightly toasted marshmallows. So you can have old stale S’mores with your sad Starbucks coffee. Why are you going to Starbucks anyway? How about you go home make a s’more for real (you can do it over the stove) and remember how awesome it was to be a kid, and you can get back to crying into your Frappuccino tomorrow.

It must have been a huge success in Japan because, for a limited time Burger Kings in the US have added the Whopper Dog to their Grilled Dogs line. Now, this is not a hot dog shoved into a whopper, instead it’s just a regular hot dog with Whopper toppings. For those of you that don’t frequent Burger King those topics are: lettuce, tomato, ketchup, chopped onions, and pickles. In other words some sort of wiener abomination. Of course if you’re going to burger king for hot dogs then there’s probably no hope for you anyway.

Deli Chocolate Slices?!?!?! - Food Feeder youtube.com/watch?v=SccfWWoKNt4If You Like It Then You Make A Chicken Ring Of It!! - Food FeederTasted2016-05-17 | For some strange reason Burger King decided to make their chicken fries in ring shapes. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Z7lbS
While some restaurants change up their menu by trying out new flavors or adding totally new items, Burger King on the other hand has changed the shape of something. Their chicken fries will now be available as rings. Now, in case you were worried, you can still get the chicken fries as fries, but you can also get a flatter circular version, because… who knows, maybe you just really like round things. Do you spend your weekends at the local Sonic drive in thinking “Man, if only they had chicken wings in unique flavors”? Yeah, us either. Even so, now you can get those wings you haven’t been dreaming of. Sonic is testing out some new wing flavors at some Southern California locations. Wait, there’s Sonic in SoCal? Anyway the three new “Flavor Jacked” boneless chicken wings you can try are Pineapple Habanero, Hot Honey, and Orange Sesame. I bet your mouth is already watering, now if only you could find a Sonic. Oh well I guess you’ll just have to settle for a real restaurant.
Have you tried any of the Flavor Jacked Wings? How were they? Do you know where we can find a Sonic in Southern California? Which flavor sounds best to you: Pineapple Habanero, Hot Honey, or Orange Sesame? Where is the best place you’ve ever gotten chicken wings from?

Pop-Tarts already come in a huge variety of flavors, some are kind of crazy, and they’re getting even more crazy because somebody thought it would be a good idea to make root beer and orange soda flavored Pop-Tarts. The A&W Root Beer one supposedly has a “bubbly” root beer flavor while the Orange Crush one has a citrusy orange soda flavor. We’re not sure how they are going to make these Pop-Tarts soda-like or what bubbly flavor is, but if we can find them we’ll be tasting them.

His “Royal Kebab” is made with Japanese Wagyu beef, milk-fed lamb, goat meat, French Chaumes cheese, fresh morel mushrooms, courgette flowers, Turkish basil, Jerusalem artichokes, La Vallee des Baux olive oil, and an Italian vinegar that's been aged for 25 years. If you want to try this gourmet kabab you’ll have to shell out about $1,300, but if you can make a better kebab he’ll pay you about $1,400.
Would you ever shell out that kind of money for a kebab? What kind of food would you pay over $1,000 for? Do you like kebabs? Do you think any kebab is worth $1,300?

Pumpkin Spice Twinkies Taste Test!!! - Food Feeder youtube.com/watch?v=NA9zt2JM11sKrispy Kreme Ice Cream Sandwiches?!?!?!? - Food FeederTasted2016-04-12 | If you like Krispy Cream doughnuts and you like ice cream and you wish you could have them together, well you’re in luck (if you live in Japan)! Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Z7lbS
Do you love your sweets combined with other sweets so that it’s all twice as unhealthy as it used to be? If you think that just makes dessert double delicious then you’re not alone. Krispy Kreme Japan has introduced their Cool Krispy Sandwich which is an original glazed doughnut, cut in half, and filled with raspberry ice cream, vanilla ice cream, and frozen berries. The sugar high will cost you around $3.75, which actually isn’t too bad. We’re just wondering if this ice cream doughnut-wich can maintain its integrity, because our experiences with other desserts stuffed with ice cream have often been less than successful.
Have you tried the Cool Krispy Sandwich? How was it? Have you ever made an ice cream sandwich with a doughnut? Do you want them to sell this at Krispy Kreme’s elsewhere in the world? What’s your favorite Krispy Kreme doughnut?
