We are going back to a lot of the basics and getting close to finishing the burning part of this one. No matter how long you have been doing wood burning, it's always great to revisit the basics. Today, we are wood burning the final adjustments with a focus on making it look like realistic and 3D. We have blocked in everything, so now is the time to start moving on from the ugly stage. I will be burning with the Optima 18S, 18L spear shaders, and med spoon shader.
I am burning on a 9.75" x 8.75" basswood piece of wood that is 1/8th inch thick, with a plan to add color later. (linked below)
