We are going back to a lot of the basics. No matter how long you have been doing wood burning, it's always great to revisit the basics. Today, we are wood burning the fall leaves with a focus on making them look like realistic. I will be burning with the Optima 18S spear shader, which tends to be my go to wood burning pen.
I am burning on a 9.75" x 8.75" basswood piece of wood that is 1/8th inch thick, with a plan to add color later. (linked below)
