We are going back to a lot of the basics. No matter how long you have been doing wood burning, it's always great to revisit the basics. Today, we are wood burning the glass coffee cup with a focus on making it look like realistic glass. I will be burning with the Optima 18S spear shader, which tends to be my go to wood burning pen.
I am burning on a 9.75" x 8.75" basswood piece of wood that is 1/8th inch thick, with a plan to add color later. (linked below)
