Regarding the track, Last Forever, Pyramid Tropic co-founder Will Whitwham says, “I went full blown Roxy Music meets Alan Parsons Project with some Timecop1983 thrown in for good measure. I am constantly writing and recording songs in my basement studio. Most people know me for my band The Wilderness of Manitoba, but what they don’t know is my secret love of 80’s synth pop music! I ended up writing two EPs worth of songs before I even realized that I had created a new project, Pyramid Tropic. On my manager’s recommendation, I collaborated with producer/multi-instrumentalist Matt Fudge and together we created the ultimate Pyramid Tropic sound fueled by many late nights and ample amounts of caffeine. We then took the songs to Berlin, Hamburg, London and Brighton, and performed them in front of live audiences!”
