one of the keys in good putting that I've tried to do all my career is keeping the left elbow the angle of this left elbow at a dress in the same position but both on the back swing and the follow through like this back swing follow through in doing that it connects my arms and shoulders in one unit making it look it's a rocking motion there to there there to there there to there now in taking the putter back I start the putter back feeling the pressure in the back of the left hand when I take the putter back I keep the back of the left hand in control of the club face there to there so let me review this entire stroke first thing is the setup feet about this far apart ball forward to the middle of the stance when you take the club back you take it Club back with your left hand keeping the angle of the left elbow consistent go back with good Rhythm and follow through keeping your head still first thing you look at in a good putter is where are they position the ball what kind of stance do they have in in most Putters you'll see the stance being just about this far apart like this you don't see too many wide stances or too many really narrow stances but about this far apart the ball position should be I think a little bit forward to Center just slightly forward to Center like this when you hit the putt it allows the loft of the putter to end up hitting the ball Square the ball starts rolling immediately rather than jumping in the air or being beaten in the ground
